Young plant browing on tip. Do i have a light problem?

Here is a pic from a couple days ago when the browning was fresh.

The lights a good few inches from the plants, 2 26w cfls.(6500k)

im leaning toward P def from the purple tint on ur leaves
which leads me to believe ur ph is off
any other info on ur plant, that can help

I was thinking ph too.. acid build up in the tips or something?! well its a random seed i got in a bag, decided to grow it. Regular potting soil with some perlite and a little nutrient enhanced soil.

But there are about 5 or 6 leaves sprouting out in the middle that don't look like they are coming out right..

Also... i haven't taking any precautions to ph other than to leave water out over night to water plant with ( supposed to evaporate the chlorine or something). Any quick solutions before i go to bed and leave it for another 8 hours+?

check the ph and go from there
and ph everything u put in it

How often are you watering?

It looks like a little nutrient burn to me.

I water it whenever it is quite dry on top, and i feel a couple inches down.

use the lift method, all you gotta do is lift up the pot and compare it to how it feels after a good watering. let it dry completely and then lift and youll be able to tell.

ok, do you think i am overwatering? it was a fresh watering in both pics.

Im unsure as wether to disperse the water around the plant, or directly onto it.

you want all of the soil to be wet after watering, dont forget to water by the sides of the container too.

Feed it a weak nute solution looks like nute burn too me as well plus it's just a seedling and its not ready for full strength nutes yet

WAY TO MUCH NUTES!!!!!!!! NPK Needs To Be Lowered! Or Transplant It IMMEDIATELY!!!!
