Isn't the war over?
Medical patients won in the Supreme Court of Canada already, didn't they? They can grow, right? 500 dispenceries across Canada. 36 corporate producers, 40,000 MMAR patients, or 120,000 current ACMPR patients and has been growing by 5000-10000 patient a month.
Rec cannabis is on it way. Regardless of what happens I'm going to grow.
Your getting too worked up bud, you need another hobby other than trying to sell tinfoil hats to us. Maybe there's a reason there's few on your soap box with you. Deep breaths Bud, life's too short, enjoy what you have. Be thankfull you live in Canada. Lets try and make this community a happy positive place.

You just don't get it.....LP dreams have clouded your vision man. Stop being ready to bow to the Gov and your approval. They don't want you or our kind.
Anyway not worth educating you.

The war is far from over, Allard was only one battle. Where are you getting your figures from? I would balk at 10K a month patient increase. I would also balk at 500 dispensaries given all the recent closures.

Take for example:

-CMA letter to doctors 'suggesting' 1-3 grs
-BC provincial college requiring 3 month renewals
-Extortion clinics only signing for reasonable fees for LP cannabis, extortion to the tune of $1000-1500 for growing your own
-LP's extorting patients for $750 for 5 clones
-Lift conference has no problems, Karma Cup venue cancelled because of pressure from the City
-City of Toronto moves to send out closure orders to property owners of any dispensary selling edibles
-Doctors now being the final arbiter of access, and largely rejecting the ACMPR as a whole

Anyone who thinks 'the war is over' is delusional.

Well all this is true, how much is the direct result of the LP's? The doctors, the CMA, Health Canada and the provincial doctors colleges are the true barriers to access. The municipalities and provinces are responsible for closing dispensaries. The LP's lobby hard, but it's government, doctors and public institutions that are screwing us over. Keep up the hate for the LP's, but I think the best way to force action is by going after government to force doctors to treat cannabis like any other prescription. I've written the provincial and federal health ministers demanding they investigate the practice of doctors and clinics charging $$ to prescribe cannabis. I'd like to see The Hippy use his talents to spread the message against the crooked canna clinics and the scam doctors sucking the life out of sick people.

Im with ya bro. But....

Corporate weed is going to happen. Period. There is too much money to be made.

All we can do is hopefully carve out a subsection in the laws that allow us to grow a bit. And so i fight that fight...

Stop paying attention to Wilcox. I don't know how many times I have to say it. Conroy posted something on his website the other day pointing out Wilcox was wrong when he made these claims. The BC College made those changes over a year ago. The CMA sent no such letter.

lol top o the page, Obrian. http://www.johnconroy.com/mmar.htm

More importantly, the BC college nor the CMA have made any changes to their rules in over a year, which more specifically proves my point. Wilted Cock is delusional. I thought everyone knew that by now? Even Conroy is distancing himself from him now.
you're wrong for here in BC> The College has put out new regs very recently.
lots of changes have been made...it's called the ACMPR.
my Dr has told me that the BC College has put in new regs within the last month. is the Dr lying??

here's from the doc you referenced and it outlines some of the problems that the Colleges are imposing:

  • If you experience problems obtaining the same thing under the ACMPR as you had on the MMAR, please do NOT call my office, but prepare a statement of the problems that you have experienced that limit what you had or continue to have under the MMAR that arise from the ACMPR so we can see what problems the new regulations pose for patients and can submit that to the court to demonstrate the problems when it comes to that court making any further orders. This should be sent by snail mail or email to my office or to the MMAR Coalition;
  • If your problems are with your physician?doctor in relation to dosage this is not caused by the ACMPR, but by the Canadian Medical Association and Provincial Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons. If you experience these problems a statement by snail mail or email should also be sent to my office indicating this type of problem so we can determine what proceedings can be taken against those bodies for restricting reasonable access;
