I couldn't possibly agree with this post any more than I do. You nailed it Dreamer, we are and should be proud of our superior position in the world. We should celebrate our victories against anyone WE DEEM EVIL. And all the Europeans out there should take a knee in honor of the sacrifice this country makes for THEIR AND OUR benefit. After all, if we didn't do it, who would? The UN? Laughable.

The only sacrifice that is made is made in the name of the holy dollar, no money (resources) involved = not interested.
It is unfortunate that the poor foot-sloggers that are blinded by some national pride are nothing more than underpaid mercenaries and a set percentage are expected to die.
Nothing is ever done for the benefit of others, the mighty dollar is the only factor.

Take away the role of "world thug" then the good old USA is worth even less. (if that is possible)
