yo how long do i need to veg before flowering

Did I miss something? I believe the question was; "yo how long do i need to veg before flowering?" Maybe I missed it but I did not see anyone mention that there is no actual need.

Plants do not need any vegging time. The hormones that begin the flowering process are in plants at all times so they can be started in a flowering light cycle. Of course a vegetative growth stage is important if someone wants a decent yield, but plants do not need it.

i would wait until those plants are lush and green again to flower, their is definitely something going on their that's not good, either you are over nurturing them or they are getting burned somehow from those lights, id give them another 2 weeks at least a week

Well ya, you really don't need to veg it out, but I would recommend him vegging it before putting it into flowering.

Ah! I always thought all CFLs gave most of their light out horizontally. Sorry if I am spreading misinformation as it was just what I heard.

Growth is prob stunted too bro. as it looks like nearly every level of the plant is affected. Instead of gimping through the rest of this grow I'd prob just swipe it and do a bit more research for next round and come out swingin'! Either way best of luck!

alright my main problem is i dont have a ph tester, i know if i had that i have a chance ,any ways i flushed them with tap water ph idk but i heard that rain water carries micro nutrients and test 6.2 ph idk but ill just keep flushing, i threw a couple into flowering like 3 out of 5 but each has 2 plants in each pot moved lights further away just bought a thermometer 3 bucks it read 93 outside 98 inside box, yikes so started running ac during the day keep temps down stays anywhere from 88 to 79 degrees so i hope i could still try to pull a harvest, i been feeding them to much and heat so once i think the soil is clean ill feed them what do you guys think of rainwater and how many times should i flush i was thinking 2 times is good like 2 weeks soil should be clean but thats what i was thinking takes about a week to dry been 10 days since flush idk how i burned them with half strenth there all the same seeds some young ones that cracked late didnt show any sighns of nute burn (sigh) idk im just gonna keep the ball rolling and learn as i go oh and just layed down some seeds mango tasting bud 2 germinated so far gonna take it nice and slow this time

Wooo, what and how much are you feeding them things? You might want to start flushing them out. Looks like your leaf tips and sides are crispy and burnt. Nutrient burn im guessing.

Did you foiler feed them by any chance?
oh and no foliar feeding but should i

I would flush 2x the amount that your container is. It does look like your having multiple problems. Don't feel bad Im dealing with problems myself. And yeah if you wanted to you could do 2 flushes in a row. You can also add a little dishsoap. (just a drop) To the water your flushing with. This will kill all the salts. If your going to do this, First flush with the water that has a little dish soap in it, If your going to flush it out with a gallon of water. Do half with the soap and half with regular water. First you start with the soap to neutralize all the salt buildup, then you flush with water to remove the soap. You could always just do water the first day you flush, and if things don't improve try the dishsoap the next day you flush.

The reason I ask if you foiler feed because sometimes that can cause spots on your leafs if the nutes are too strong. Right now I wouldn't foiler feed. I would worry about giving your plants a good flush. I really can't say exactly whats wrong with your plants. Looks like you got a few problems. But I do see burnt tips and the edges of the leafs also look burnt.

Use this is a learning experience. Make sure to get some type of PH tester even if its only the pool type tester.

Don't water them again until the top of your soil is dry. You could do one more flush to be safe, or if you think you did a good enough flush start feeding it half strength and see how it goes. As far as earth juice goes, I have heard of people having a lot of problems with that nutrient. I have never used it. Are you saying the guy on youtube added earth juice along with his main bloom/veg nutes? Or that he was using earth juice only in bloom? I wouldn't just use that, I would pick up some micro's too.

What nutrients do you have now that you are using? And yes, you want to flush the last 2 weeks before you harvest.

Well, if you already have EarthJuice products you might as well go with that since your hydro shop don't carry fox farm products. Was just making sure you weren't just using Earthjuice grow. Not sure how much the EarthJuice cost you but Fox Farm is a decent price (Thats why I use the FF line) You can get it on ebay pretty cheap too.
