. My apologies for being so off and on lately guys. Between travel, quality time with the GF, starting the semester and keeping up with my plants as much as necessary I have been pretty busy lately. Luckily, my school schedule loosened up a little bit recently so I should have a good amount of time to work on all of the projects I have lined up! I'll keep you all posted as I make progress.

Hey, thanks very much PUKKA BUD! I have tried a bit -- I quick-dried .3g in the microwave last night (2x5sec) and it in combination with my bubbler knocked me into space. Seriously. Felt like I was wearing a giant padded space helmet. Radical. Taste will improve with time and a good cure, but currently the aroma is of cucumbers and the taste is fresh with a hint of diesel. I jarred it up today (it dried pretty quickly because of the low ambient humidity where I am... I'll make a note to dry at a higher RH next time so it takes a little longer), and I'll be monitoring how the smoke evolves.
I'll do a write-up of my hash method with the picture updates below!

Final Dry Weight: 32g
Not too shabby! This is after I broke it up into smaller nugs and trimmed off some stems yesterday. Like I said, I jarred up the bud today and I'll probably start smokin' it on the reg tonight. I'm pretty happy with this dry weight. The bud is definitely waaay denser than last time. If ol' Miss Rotty Stem's namesake hadn't come into play I could definitely see this plant putting out two zones. That'll be the goal for next time!

PUKKA BUD, I forgot to get pictures as I was washing my trim with alcohol so hopefully a detailed description ought to do. This is based off of
Hashmouf's Official Guide to QWISO Hash (includes pictures).
Step 1: Place fresh or well-dried trimmings in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Put frozen trim in large glass jar (peanut butter jar, mason jar, etc.)
Step 3: Add just enough isopropyl alcohol (91%) to cover, and start a stop-watch.
Step 4: After THIRTY (30) seconds, start shaking jar vigorously.
Step 5: After THIRTY (30) seconds of shaking, immediately strain alcohol from plant matter (using strainer or coffee filter) into evaporation dish. I did manage to get a picture of my dish:
Step 6: Let dish sit (perhaps under a fan) for at least 24 hours. Give it a bit of extra time to dry even after you think all of the iso is gone.
Step 7: Scrape up leftovers with a razor and enjoy!
You can repeat steps 3-5 again if you're using high quality trim. I did two washes into the same evaporation dish because I don't really care about separating out super high quality from high quality, but you can certainly evaporate separate washes in separate dishes. I wouldn't recommend doing more than two, or you''ll start getting a lot of chlorophyll leeching and your hash will turn into sticky black tar (that will still get you blazed).
Later tonight I'll be cleaning out my grow case and moving an LSD plant into it from the tent. Perhaps more updates then!
