Yield estimate?

I have a pineapple chunk plant that looks wonderful. I gave it growing in a 7 gal smart pot. Currently it is about 6 ft tall, was topped at about 12 inches tall. It has 4 main branches. I have been monster cropping it for a few weeks now and will likely use a mild LST to pull the 4 main branches apart so that it gets lots of sun. Any idea what the average yeild is going to be on a plant this size grown outside?

I know that yeild varies, and a lot of factors come in to play. I am just looking for a ball park figure to give me an idea. This is my first serious grow so I have no clue.

Umm, I didn't need sarcastic replies. I have grown plants before. Just not marijuana. I may not be an expert but I won't fuck things up that bad. And if you can take my 6ft tall plant in a 7 gal pot and get 5lbs off of it, you must be about the best grower in the world!

you wont yield much in a pot, better put that in the ground. More roots=more buds.

Then why create an unanswerable thread ;) You can yield lots, you can yield little. Even i odn't know, throwing a picture up still isn't going to return an accurate answer, just a complete guess. And newsflash, shit happens, i didn't think i could fuck up a plant badly but you know what, shit happens.

Not to metnion you're asking for an estimate yield on a plant that size, think you'll find the estimate has to take the strain into account, not just the size. I've had 3 foot plants yield an ounce, i've had 3 foot plants yield 6 ounces. Pretty big variation if you're just going by size.

Ok, let's make this a little simpler. My goal was between 2 & 4 oz. Do you think it is likely if I don't fuck this up, that I will meet this goal? And I did mention strain, it is Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk.

i dont think that is unreasonable but if you want to know for sure just look at the breeders page, it should tell you what you want to know (indoor/outdoor yields, flower time etc etc...) that would be the best ball park estimate anyone could give. you could even google (pineapple chunk grow journal) and thumb through them (i know it takes a while) but you can see other peoples luck with this strain.

If planting these in the ground had been an option, I would have, but the ground it absolutely covered with rocks & boulders. Next year I am going to construct raised beds instead of smart pots. This year, the smart pots were my choice and that is what I am going to live with. Whatever I yeild is what I will get. If I knew an easy way to post pics from my iPhone, I would, but I don't.

Do this...email the pics to you. Download them on your PC then upload them here -=) These pics were taken this morning. The one on the left is White Rhino the 2 on the right are Northern Lights.

You said you topped and what have 4 cola's going or just two. The topping will help though and in a 7 gallon bucket you should make 2-4 0z easy.

That's awesome! Would be great if I got
9oz of my pineapple chunk, but I won't hold my breath.
