Yield Estimate?

How much will I get with 45 plants under a 1000 watt for 45 day veg and 60 day flower in an 8x8? I am growing full indicas in soil. I know there are a million variables, but if you have done something like this let me know what you think I will get and I'll get you some rep. Thanks.

I would figure low end 1-2 oz. per plant of nothin but bud, then anything after that will be gravy. It's hard to tell, you got any strains in mind? Good luck JR

the 4 plants right under the light could get you a pound then half a pound from from all the rest so my guess is 1.5 pounds maybe 2 if you have side lights

No offense but, 45 plants for 45 days veg seems a bit drastic for the area your 1K can handle. From my experience a 1K is good for a 4'x4' area. IMO 8 -10 plants in 7 gal pots makes sense.

Sorry if you have started already.

You could do 45 w/ no veg using clones and do well. 1 to 1.5 lbs. if not more depending on strain and those other variables you did'nt want to discuss.

You want to be at 30-50 watts per square foot. 8x8 is 64sqft... and that's only ~15 watts/sqft. 4x5 would be 50 watts per foot.

so would it be better to only grow 30 in like a 5x5 space?

I love all the people making these guess's like they know... I would bet, since it sounds like your a new grower, you will get no more then half a lb from that 1 1000watt. But good luck, i was never able to get more then like 16-20oz's from one 1000watt, and that took a while, from trial and error...

i was gonna start a new thread but im just going to ask the question here considering its in the same topic area as this, My question is this


Say you have 15 plants under a 1,000 watt plant in a 5x5 area, And in another room you have 2 plants under the same 1,000 watt and same 5x5 area, Are you going to get the same yield , ...Like does the amount of plants under a light matter or just the watts of the lighting, thanks
