Yield estimate (pics)

Hey guys, This is my first grow with regular feminised seeds, strain is Royal Queen: Critical, its 51 days old today, I switched to 12/12 9days ago (Vegged for 6 weeks under 2x 125w Dual-Spec CFL's) Fimmed on day 37....(I spotted tiny pistils 8 days after switching)

Anyone have a rough estimate on what it could yield? Any replies much appreciated.

guessing yield isnt easy from a few pics or really unless u no the strain well, what light are you using for flower?

nice enough little plants tho for a 1st grow.

^^^Yeh^^^ So a healthy plant is going to give you a nice yield, weight is anybody's guess, but it look like it'll be quality!

I'm using the 2 125w dualspecs, you just turn the light around as half of the bulb is red, , plan on getting 150w hps soon though for flower

plants that small and flowered under cfl wont yield much.

if i had to guess and thats all it would be a guess, id say no more than 10-15g. each

get some hps u wont regret it, the pic i posted i vegged them for around 6wks.

a HPS would be a good call ..

6 weeks veg time sounds like a lot for a small plant like that, even if you count from germination ? what kind of soil/nuts do you use and what kind a PH

also a bigger pot will let it develop a bigger rot net = a bigger plant = a bigger yield (I usealy repot in to 3-5 gallon pots a week before I flip the light to 12/12)

about yield, my guess would be as good as the next guy, but maybe a oz per plant ? tho with CLF it will only be the top half that will be good dense and mature, lower buds will be flimsy and IMO only good for makeing oil/hash a HPS will help here as well on over all yield, may I suggest a 250W with cool tube and a small 4" ventilation (fresh air/co2 is also very important for healthy and high yielding plants and a ventilation also let you fit a filter once they begin to stink if smell is a issue for you ?)

I was planning on 150w hps as they're good for small spaces apparently, I only plan on doing one plant really, the other little plant in an auto which im just leaving to grow. Yeah, I'm looking for something like that, i prefer to order from uk sites though as i don't have to wait as long for my order, Does that one i posted look ok? Ill use these 125 CFL's for side lighting if i can control temps.

That looks fine, but you will not regret going the extra 15 quid and getting the 250w.. As soon as I saw my 150w hps compared to my cfl, I couldn't get a higher wattage quick enough.
(CharliesHydro; I've always had the best customer service from them, stick with them cos they don't try and sell you stuff you don't need)

yeah i was thinking of getting 250, I'm just concerned about the heat from those, will i need a cooltube for it in such a small space like mine, my main target would be 28 - 35g from this plant, could this be acheivable if i got 150w?

I reckon it's realistic....

That's doable with a 150 butr for the extra few quid the 250 n cooltube etc is the better option.

Greenshorticulture are a good uk site and also growel.

That's just what I'm running, through a cooltube. I've had 3 maxibrites ballasts so far; all of them good

I am guessing 14 grams on that lil one.

hey mr ganja those pics are awesome!what strain and what wattage were the lights you flowered it under because the colas on your pics are so dense!!!

It's a lot hotter that a cfl.
I had a 250cfl first grow, upgraded to 150w and was surprised how much more heat that gave out.
However, I've run a 400w in a 4 x 4 tent without a cooltube/hood and heat was a problem only in the summer time...
