Enjoy the rest of your life you useless motherfuckers. Maybe set up a special shrine for the medal you will get for the flesh wound before 19 children got slaughtered.
Abbott was extoling the virtues of our, 'Brave police", it took the intervention of federal agents to order them in! That's right the big federal guberment told states what to do, there will be outage over this! Besides it was all their fault for not locking the doors, like a prison. Puts a whole new spin on serve and protect, blue lives matter, more than children's it would seem.

They did pretty well roughing up some parents who got unruly in the hour or so of watching the police fuck around while some asshole with an assault rifle was allowed to kill 4th graders.

that one mom was handcuffed, talked them out of releasing her, jumped over a fence and entered the school, got her 2 kids and got them safely out.

they should all be terminated immediately and any pension be donated for burial costs, etc for the parents.

I'm late to this conversation,All I can say is there is no reasonable need for civilians to have assault rifles(semi auto, modified to auto, big capacity clips, etc)period. How big tough law and order Texas didn't follow "active shooter" procedure which advocates immediately confronting the threat and has been the doctrine since Columbine is beyond me.And finally this ridiculous shit happens on a weekly basis in the states and I don't expect any changes in it's occurrence or in any new laws to at least hamper these acts which is criminally sad.

What a fucking disgrace. 7 cops in the building within a couple minutes of the shooter entering the building. Two of them got grazed - oh noes.

Guess what assholes, it's your motherfucking job to risk your life, right then and right there to save those children. But you didn't do that, did you? I guess maybe you had to hide around a corner and radio back to headquarters to get the armored personnel carrier warmed up.

What a bunch of cowards.

This should put an end to the good guy with a gun myth, but it won't as long as the tough guy LARPing fantasies continue.

These sorry sacks of shit concentrated on crowd control. They should have just handed their weapons to the parents.
Every parent there that lost a child should/will sue the fuck out of that police dept/town & they will win.

They better get ready.

I can smell the lawsuits coming...The Uvalde police department is about to be in a world of hurt. At the very least, the chief and every officer there should be shit canned today...They can replace all of them with an old man with a dog. The old man can answer the phone, and the dog can bite criminals in the ass....It would be more than those already in place do, apparently.

But god sez they should. It's in the bible!!!

Jesus said, "blessed is he that selleth a weapon of mass destruction to pretty much anybody olde enough to grow pubes. Those who would infringeth the right to kill many, many people in a blink of an eye will spend eternity getting sodomized by George Soros."

Psychopaths won't get parole. We don't always like the results of constitutional democracy and some may arrogate upon themselves the right to judge experts, but it's really no different than covid or masks. It seems unjust, the more you tie justice to retribution and the less to change and rehabilitation, for those who are remorseful and have the capacity to change.

Cruel punishments and the death penalty don't deter crimes driven by passion or insanity, the certainty of getting caught and immediate justice has the biggest deterrence on crime. The long delays in justice make it hard to make Trump accountable and breed cynicism among the public. The overwhelming number of gun murders in America mean police can't cope and many murders go unpunished. In Canada and the UK there are a lot fewer gun murders and thus we catch a higher percentage of them because we can focus resources.

Supreme Court rules Quebec City mosque shooter eligible for parole in 25 years
54,808 views May 27, 2022 In a unanimous ruling, the Supreme Court says the gunman who killed six people at a Quebec City mosque in 2017 must get a chance at parole after serving 25 years in prison, striking down a Criminal Code provision allowing judges to impose consecutive periods of parole ineligibility.

I'm not that way. I'm happily married in a vanilla hetero relationship and have no interest in anything else. Not that there is anything wrong with your choices or even if you want to fantasize about my butt, so long as you keep it long distance.

It's just that you are so defensive. I mean, all I did was point out that your post about the one time in thousands where your fantasy of using a gun to protect people came true does not justify our liberal gun laws.

You went off as if I was violating your religion. But the facts are, almost always, the bad guy kills many times before being stopped. Usually, the defender is killed if he even tries.

This is fact. Your fantasy should be left to the times when you are alone with yourself.

Google and other mega tech corporations have infiltrated pretty much every school, and have total surveillance on all your kids. 99% of parents don't even question the fact that 3rd parties have taken control, and even tell the school employees they don't have to get permission slips for them to track everything they do. Especially since the pandemic, where even the remote learning software they sent home and forced your kids to use was logging all the biometric data in your own home. They can analyze all the data with their quantum computers and run simulations, just like you are a program in the matrix, and pretty much predict the future. All cell phones automatically downloaded c0vid tracing software like 2 years ago, which is basically a backdoor trojan virus giving full access almost 24/7 to virtually every device. Connecting them into a grid like network.

The schools you trust to take care of your children have sold you and your kids privacy out. Most schools have keycards to scan and keep track of students and staff, now days. Trust me when I say the government and higher ups knows everything about everything that was going on in that school building in real time. They could have shot a microwave beam through the wall and fried his brain in seconds if they really wanted.

More security in school is what they are after. Kids are the main way they control the working class to be slaves. Keeping them in a prison education camp all day while you give up 80% of your energy for a paycheck that is taxed on top of taxed on top of taxed, while keeping you in fear about everything is the plan.

I you aren't dropping out of the rat race, staying off the radar, and homeschooling your kids in 2022 (while showing them how badass McGyver is without guns), I really don't know what your main priorities in life are...

This thread is about gun violence and how to solve the problem in America. I suggest you make another thread for your paranoid manifesto and back up radical opinion based on facts with some meaningful links, not right wing nut sources, Alex Jones or Steve Bannon please. WTF are "THEY" name names, is George Soros one of "them"? Donald Trump?

How is the average person gonna fend off the hordes of benzo/tranq fentynal zombies (coming soon if it isn't in your neighborhood yet) that break in through your kids window trying to get dope money at night with less than 9 rounds?

Why are we even talking about guns and not that? Seems like people are more worried about guns than tons of synthetic dope coming across the borders every day. I guess if you sell fyntenal you end up in a gold casket, and everybody loves you, and wants the unfortunate addicts stealing for it to not get shot at while they rob you.

Ya Donald trump for example. I heard him in a speech say we should have one door in every school building. Prison like security. Imagine if the building caught on fire, like seriously?

So home schooling and dropping out of society is your solution? Unplug everything, arm yourself, and lock the doors so the hoards of drug addicts can’t come in? Just trying to understand how everyone is supposed to do any of this if that’s what you propose.

Change the drug laws and give them free drugs if they are old addicts, young addicts too, with periodic counseling and help to get off. It works amazingly well in other countries, drastically reduces crime and saves overdose deaths too, these drugs are cheap as dirt and they can shoot up in government van like ambulances like they do in Holland. The addicts pay for their drugs from the government and it costs a hundred bucks or so a month, they have jobs, opioids are not like alcohol which is one of the few drugs that affect judgement. The objective is to maintain older addicts who can't or won't change, while steering the younger ones off addiction, not many people want to be addicted, even addicts. If you can't sell drugs on a front because your business dries up you are out of business and many addicts sell to support their addiction.

We already know how to mitigate this problem, you will never solve it, because you can't save some people from themselves, but they need not steal your TV and most can hold jobs etc.

I don't really see a solution to any of it. To me it is solved. I actually think everything is as good as it is bad, just the way it is. Life is perfectly balanced IMO. I got tired of living in fear all the time. If you aimed an AR at me (just me), I probably wouldn't even show any emotion. I'm not scared to die myself, but ya I still worry about my kid the way any parent would.

As far as homeschooling go's, I don't trust that any one else really has my child's best interest in mind. Or what could happen during a lockdown, where parent's have no rights, just like what happened the other day. I'm vindicated almost every day on choices I've made, and trusting my gut. Dropping out of society in so many ways takes a great level of trust that the universe will provide everything you need.

Having this mindset creates a magical like force field that protects you and your kids. I don't expect anyone to believe me. It is as if there is a higher power watching over, that will confuse the gunman, cloud his judgement, and make him miss the shots. Or the gun will jam, etc. I don't worry about these situations anymore, and always try to be extremely grateful no matter what life throws at me..
