Yellowing first leaves. Will I lose the whole plant?

I have three plants that were yellowing because I believe my light was too close and burning them.

I moved the light and things are picking back up for the ones that were suffering but I am for sure losing the first leaves that grew....( not the Cotyledon leaves )

New growth still seems to be happening.... will losing those first main leaves kill the whole plant?

Should I cut off the yellow parts of the leaves? I read on another post that helps.

honestly i think thats more personal pereference but i if i see and yellowing on my plants it comes off
