Yellowing Fan Leaves

Hello friends,

I have a quick question this is my baby girl Sensi Star from Paradise seeds. She is 3 months old and has been in flowering for 30 days. She is starting to turn yellow in the big fan leaves. I am supposed to feed her a little Grow Big from Fox Farm in the next few weeks, according to the feeding schedule.

Question… I have read that it is ok for these leaves to turn. I was thinking of flushing in 4 weeks. Should I give her a little nitrogen or just let her be? I have also read that some people let almost all of the fan leaves turn yellow because you want the nitrogen to be used by the plant for a smother toke…..give me your opinion…

the fan leaves turn yellow during flush(last two weeks).Ive learned over the years you cant go by the days or date expected. There are so many factors that contribute to proper growth.the dates you here are usually under optimul conditions and they usually take a lil longer than expected. After you grow the same strain a couple times do a side by side with a couple plants and give a couple a lil more nitrogin than others and keep doing that with your nutes till you find the best combo n stick with it.hope it helps a lil.

......what other nutes you been giving her??
I thinkn that in the normal depletion of N that we look for(and let happen) starts occurring in the lower, older fans first, correct?? Depending on what you've been feeding her...just curious what you'd be 'flushing' when she might be lacking something(deficient), or locking it out.... Just something more to concider.

If you still have 4 wks left......geez, that cola could still easily double in size!:peace::peace:

You guys are FN awesome.
I have been feeding her Fox Farm all the way. I have given her some superthrive in the last 4 feedings. I water usually every Saturday and Wednesday. PH 6.3 and TDS 800-1000 depending on the formula.
Nutes for the last 4 weeks have been....
Bloom Big-(bat guano stuff)
Tiger Bloom
Sweet
Superthrive
Open Seseame
Like I said the Fox Farm feeding schedule calls for Grow big in the next feeding. I will give her a little Nitrogen this morning. I brought a microscope and all the trichs are still clear and the hairs are still white.

Everthing looks like it should and the bud looks great also. It isn't going to matter about those leaves your not going to smoke them any way. HARVEST IS CLOSE. YOUR GIRLS ARE GOING TO BE FINE.

Without knowing the growth pattern of your specific strain NO ONE can tell you whether this plant needs anything or not!!!!! You could always give a slight amount of nitrogen, but I would try someting that is easily flushed out, as you don't want heavy greening in the end stages. Slow releasing nitrogen would be a problem!!!!
