Yellowing Fan Leaves??? 22 Days Flowering...

Anyone have any opinions on the yellowing fan leaves toward the bottom of the plants? I assume it's because they aren't getting as much light as they used to, but I've been wrong so many time before with these kids... :)

Thanks!

correct me if im wrong but i think this is perfictly natural for the leaves to turn yellow as the plant ripens. The plant is using nutriants in the leafs to build your buds.

it could well be a combination of not getting enough light on the lower 1/3 of the plant. I had something similer wen i was bout 2 weeks into flowering. I made the mistake of pruning it all in one go, which set me back about a week or two cuz of the shock. I understand its ok to prune a litle ie. 10% or less. I think its best to do the pruning b4 u swich the lights, I could be wrong and if i am i hope someone corrects me but i think you should prune it back gradualy, gently so u dont stress the plant. It will divert the plants energy into the buds rather than trying to resurect dieing foliage

the leaves are yellowing because (a) the stored nutrients are being dispersed (b) the plant is focusing on growing buds. Your plant is now less focused on healthy fan leaves for photosynthesis and more preoccupied with it's life cycle nearing an end. I don't recommend pruning just for the sake of it (because some leaves are yellow). Every time you prune your plant has to recover and heal itself from that injury which can take away from bud growing time. If you have some bud sites that are completely blinded by some fan leaves it's ok to take off those fan leaves... but don't go nuts about it!

Ya i am onboard with this one...

I think it might be strain dependent too...

My White skunk did not do this but i have seen it here before...

Awesome... thanks... I haven't touched any of the yellow ones... I didn't really feel--other than the ugliness of it--that there was any reason to remove them... Thank you very much for the info!
