Yellow New Growth? Help

So, I just moved my transplants into the CAP E&G bucket system. I made the mistake of adding nutrients and my babies are looking yellow with the new growth. I started flushing them with pure water yesterday to regain some greenness hopefully. Today I elevated my inner buckets from the outer to help with better draining issues.
I'm using a coco/hydroton mix 60/40. Everyone I have spoken too that uses the same bucket system says that straight hydroton is the best for these systems. I chose to use this mix to act as a moisture protection barrier. Power outage, pump failure, etc.
Now my main question is, how much should I flush these ladies with ph balanced water?:wall:

My new growth is looking yellow but trying to grow still. The older growth is looking burned. the leaves are curling up and getting a copper looking rust on the inside of the leaf close to the center. Can anyone here give me any insight?

DSCI1084.jpgOk I'm still trying to figure out what is making these plants turn yellow and no growth. I have flushed them with clearex and some of them have started to turn green with the new growth. Still some of them aren't growing and are very yellow looking. The stems are so dark red they are almost purple. Can this be nitrogen defishincy? The rest of the plants were chem burned in the beggining.

They actually look over-watered to me. It'd fit with the lack of growth. Coco retains a lot of water, and a young root system doesn't need much. Let the coco dry out a bit before feeding again. Make sure to include a good dose of Calcium as the coco will keep a bit of that element for it's own buffer and to assist the CEC of the media.

Wait till almost dry, feed with an 800ppm solution with a good dosage of all elements pH balanced at 5.8. Should resolve the issues.

Ok sounds right. I'm using House and Garden nutes. They claim not to add extra cal/mag. But this problem only is taking over a few plants. Pretty much the ones I had to replace due to nute burn. I'll let them dry out a for a few more days. The rest of the plants have new growth and the leaves are green but some are turning a bit yellow. Not burn look to them. Just changeing from a darker shade of green to a lighter shade. The stems are looking dark red.

House and Garden Coco A+B runs a really bizarre formulation. It's something like 10-4-10 with 11% Calcium. You are correct in saying you don't need the Cal-Mag, because H&G has more Calcium than anything else.

Your plants do look over watered and over fed. The root system just isn't mature enough for you to push them as hard as you had been. Allow the media to dry out, let those roots do some growing, and they should pull though. It's just going to take some extra time.
