Nice.

When I make QWISO i use either 91% or 99% Isopropyl alcohol. I freeze the iso, glass jars, and materials before hand for at least 24hrs. I'll do 2 washes of approx 25-30 seconds each. I filter that thru a non-bleached coffee filter to get rid of some impurities. Then pour it into a pyrex pan. I use a good fan, and just evaporate off the ISO that way. The first several hours are intense, so make sure you have plenty of good ventilation when doing this. After about 4-6hrs you shouldn't have any more fumes. And depending on your fan and setup it can take anywhere from 8-24hrs for all the ISO to evaporate.

Yeh in vapor PG = throat hit, VG = billowing clouds. I'll have to mix up some different ratios and see how they do. I know after a whole tank pure PG starts to get a lil harsh.
Yea that's pretty similar how I do my QWISO if I make it. Though for this I got to skip all the jars and coffee filters since it was bubble bags. Whenever I get around to doing this again I'm going to get an ice chest also to put the bucket in that I'm working the cold iso to clean the bags inside. Every now and then I'll water rinse and winterize some QWISO. Might try that too just to help ensure more life out of atomizers.

Well here we are today. I'll go through and make a couple posts so I can more easily sort things out. The Sour Diesel will most likely be coming down either this weekend or early next week. Then I think the order will go, Jamaican D--->Galaxy-->tangerine dream and sweet tooth--->chunky diesel and headband. For the 8 plants in the air pots anyways. The solo cups are all over the place, just cut two down the other day. Then the smart pots, one is another chunky diesel that will be about 2 weeks after the CD and HB. The other is a galaxy that will probably be done about the same time as the last of the airpots.

Well I guess I have to split them up no matter what...(10 pic limit) LOL

So startig with the 3rd picture IMG_0798 going in order : Glass slipper, sweet tooth, Tangerine dream, Sour Diesel, Jamaican D, Chunky D, head band, last the stretchy chunky diesel that was just thrown in from rooting. I mistakenly called it Jamican D earlier.

Quick question. Didn't want to start a new thread for it. I'm debating buying a quantum meter. I'm sure the hydrofarm one isn't as good as the apogee. But anyone have experience with both? Also what would be a reasonable price for a barely used apogee mq-200?

Anybody?

Welp... After reading this and then everything else on their page guess I'm not having to spend $300+ on a damn PAR meter. SQ-100 series with my multi meter here I come. LOL Now just trying to read more in to it to figure out if I should get the Sun calibrated or electric.

Looks like on their aquarium page they list spectral error using the electric calibrated sensor with LEDs.

Good luck if you get it let us know how it works for ya, I was going to buy one but instead bought a 20$ lux meter to measure the intensity of my LEDs instead XD

Alright so got my Apogee SQ-120 electric. I choose that one since thats what I found the most info with regarding LED and the fact the photodiodes range was a little wider, i.e. 400nm-700nm Vs. 410nm-655nm for the SQ 110sun calibrated sensors. Just took a couple readings spanning around the 2x4. Even with two lights in a 2x4 the way they are setup I'm only getting about 500 PPF around the perimeter. @18" from center of the lights the RW definitely beats out the XGS. Though not sure if that's spectral related or what though. 175.5 mV for the RW and 137.7mV for the XGS which equals roughly 877.5 umol/m^2/s for the RW and 688.5 for the XGS @ 18" dead center. Was hard to get a couple pics of those center readings trying to juggle the sensor and camera and not drag the line all through the plants. LOL

OMG the resin!!! IMG_0836 is ridiculous
Thanks! That would be the Barney's Farm Sweet tooth.

I've got a little something in the stable just now starting that should be interesting to test out in the coming months. About maybe two-three years back or so I used this same cut of the sweet tooth to treat and make pollen, since I didn't have a sweet tooth male to use and that is a great female, to cross with the Dabney blue we still had around at the time. Long story short there were 3 remaining seeds after a series of unexpected events, I found them not long ago. Finally germed them. They all popped and have sprouted above ground. They should all be female. Was something I wanted to test out but I never got to. I'm hoping for a something interesting. Would love to have something with the blueberry muffin mix scent of the dab and the trich production traits of the sweet tooth.

Alright just for the haters. Have got messages on here and other places with people saying they don't believe my claims, or that my buds are tiny that they can tell from the pictures they are all small. No they aren't the biggest, but I run 10+ plants under ~340w.... I like variety more than I like growing forearmed sized colas which I can do and I'm certain the LEDs are capable of if I was running 1-2 plants under each light(4 plants total) like I would a for a similar sized setup with a 400W(2 plants total). So here's some perspective. Here's a tiny 24oz steel reserve can. LMAO IMG_0876.JPG

Still adding up. So it continues to grow. I think I missed a post here. As of yesterday i was sitting at I think 6.7, would have to double check. Just weighted 1.6oz off tangerine to add to it. The little tiny podunk galaxy is ready today according to my charts I have setup for conditional formatting to automatically flag certain things. MIght be a 1/2oz... but I still have the Sweet tooth, the glass slipper, chunky diesel, and headband to take down. Along with a couple other solo cups.

I may have missed it skimming your thread, but did you notice any plant preference toward either the XGS or RW?

I'm growing with both right now. It seems like the RW is working better 2-3 weeks into flower. I also have a Blackstar "blurple" light in the tent and the plant under the XGS constantly leans toward the reddish Blackstar. I don't notice it leaning into the RW. But, the lean toward the red Blackstar is noticeable.

Nice work skunky! Those buds look awesome.

The LED lights are indeed capable of producing large, dense buds. I've got immature, unflushed, broken Haze branches that aren't airy at all. They're also good and stoney, easily mid shelf in most dispensaries.
