Been using advance nutes on my plants from get go, part A in growing, part B in blooming, got spider mites in blooming stage (seems as if mites always show up in the blooming stage from past grows ) Been using SNS 209 for the mites (really get stuff & it works ) Been about 4 weeks or so into bloom, started to get signs of cal/mag def, got that under control, now showing signs of phosphate (leaves turning purple) & nitrate def (yellowing of leaves), dumped the advance (been feeding, watering, watering feeding cycle) & went with first feeding of miracle grow 20 - 20 - 20, hopefully it will clear up not only the phosphate but also the nitrate def. (sorry guys I don't supply photo's of my plants online for security reasons) I guess my question is, why, if I'm paying around $20.00 bucks a quart times two (part A & B) why am I showing or having phospate plus nitrate def when miracle grow only costs 5 or 6 bucks a box.

Well, If you are using the Advanced A&B system like you say, you are doing it wrong. Advanced Nutes has an A&B for Veg, and an A&B for bloom. Not 1 for each. For VEG growth, you need both the A&B Sensi GROW, and the A&B Sensi BLOOM for budding. You are only giving the plants half of what they need, which is why you are seeing problems.

If this is what you are doing, I would recommend a nice flush, and start back with BOTH the A&B (Bloom) at 2 ml/l. ( half strength to ease back in after flush) Then slowly get up to the recc. 4 ml/l

Thanks for the reply's, I'm sorry, I do use part A & B of both grow & bloom, yes I PH my waterings (6.5) both after the nutes are added & when just watering & thanks sun king for the compliment on the sleds.

not sure on the AN feeding schedule but maybe give it some of the grow nutes in bloom to prevent nitrogen def.

I use the AN Connoisseur A&B and have been getting great results. I throw in some B1 and Cal/Mag bloom as well since I'm growing in coco. I really don't think you can blame this one on AN.
