Only the countries whose governments condition their society to this. If you go to mainland Asia, humbleness is common. Though the west lures a lot of them in, working the sex trade to support their poor families back home and all that. It's more of a selfless lifestyle out there.

People joke around here, and it is usually pretty obvious, but in the last couple of days shit got out of control and hurtful. As a Native American, I call BS on your comment too. Most of my family and friends, and I, know we are nothing but dust in the wind. Materialism, greed, and pompousness, make us sick.

I'm poor as fuck and I don't care. I know life isn't about ALWAYS being happy. Sometimes you have to work hard, come home to absolutely nothing, sit on the couch with your family and read a book together for fun. To me thats fun, to the rest of this country it's "boring".

God yes, we are so lucky if we have the spare time, resources and the family around us to just stop running around and curl up with a good book. I got a new boo from my subscription in the mail yesterday and it felt like rain from heaven lol

But for the most part, I don't like alot of humans. I mean I try to LOVE every soul, even if I don't LIKE them and regardless of their species. When I take a shine to someone, I really have a deep, strong love for them and to everyone else, it's only fair to try and be civil.

But I'm not even a human at all in my head *<- points to avatar* I've had years battling species dysphoria and handling phantom limbs and shit, on top of learning how to communicate with HUMANS. My god they are a crazy bunch.

But at lease I've met some good ones. We're a negligible speck on the face of the planet, but I want to be the dust that travels with the rivers and the herds and the packs.

Maybe when I die, I'll come home to my spirit pack.

I made a trip during the "Thanksgiving holidsay" to visit some inlaws. One of the inlaws I had to tolerate was trying to explain to me why all asians are a certain way because she knew a woman who "worked with one". One the outside I was being polite but on the inside I wanted her to die.

Is this normal?
