:mrgreen:Hey I have tried to get the humidity in my flower area down but I can't figure it out. I know that I need to be in the 50s but it stays in the 80s and 90s with the lights off. The hum is around 60-70 with them on
Anyone with some help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:blsmoke:

No rains, the temps are in the 50s-60 with the lights out. And 70s with lights on.
I was thinking that is what I needed. I looked around the local stores and no one is selling them yet.
I have looked on line but they are like $200 and 50L units, I don't think I need one that big.

I bought a dehumidifier at a yard sale for $30 .I'm using it in a 12' X 18' X 8' room and it controls humidity well. It does run all the time though(24/7).in a smaller area it would cycle on and off as needed. There is a knob to adjust this, but I just keep mine cranked up all the way.

mine was 95% pretty much all the time lights on or off. its made my carbon filter stop working. temps are 30C day 20C night. bought a dehumidifier a couple of days ago, i ran it for a couple of hours and boom its a nice 60% it creeps back up within an hour of the thing being off though. mines a 20 litre i think, cost me £70 in the sale. there's loads on sale in the uk, i know that doesnt help you much. just letting you know they are worth the cost because unlike a lot of things these days they actually do the job they say they do

I have a 16" iso. fan on 24/7 and a 80cfm ex fan in a 6x2x5 area. I also have a 465cfm fan I use when the lights are on. This fan is blowing from out to inside the grow area.

The lights are on from 4pm to 4am.

If mould starts how will I now what to look for. Ive seen it on walls but what will it look like on the plants?

Oh you'll know. The first sign is often a musty smell, also grey powdery shit on the buds. About all you can do with mouldy weed is make bubble hash(I hear).

See what's available cheap. Check out yard sales, and want ads. You don't need a big one, mine is only small. I just looked at it and can't find a size, but it's only 44 watts, so isn't that big a deal for elect.

mine Burns 350watts and my grow boxes collectively are about 11 square feet and 4 feet tall, the bedroom they are in is about 100 square feet by 8ft high. i could of got away with a smaller dehumidifier but its nice to see the average room humidity drop by 25% within an hour

dude...i picked up these things that take a small moisture absorbant white granular thing....i think they made to take smells out of cubboards or sumthing.one will cost u around $5 and they work fuken well.my humidity was at 90%, with to of these units(it's jst a small dome thingy that u put the granules in and they absorb the moisure in the air as they dissolve and u left with a tub +-500ml of pure h2o.the granules cost $1 a packet and i replace them every month/empty the water.)i got my humidity down to 50%!
