response from gotham: Hi xxx, actually the good news is there is absolutely nothing wrong with the LED that appears to be out. It's the 730nm infrared diode and it's outside the visible spectrum of the human eye. It is in fact working properly. All 6-band lights come with this feature. Enjoy.

my comment: i bought the lighthousehydro 135w led on thursday and recived it to 4/16/12 and when i turned it on and was making sure all the lights were on i noticed the one i think it was b20 was out. I bought it off of amazon through your store. my Order# 540. I was just letting you guys know that this one was out when i plugged it in.

was just wondering if this is true because i have never heard of such thing looking into leds.

Check it with your phone camera. Turn on the led and point your phone camera at it. If you can see the light on then it is true
True story. I knew this before ordering so i wasn't freaked out but I can see how not knowing it upfront would make you worry. Btw camera trick works on remote controls too. Human eye can't see it.

aha well that solves everything i wasent freakin out that i couldnt see it i was just like damn i spent 150 for it to come and have a light out. so i was just letting them know so if more go out that this one was already out when i got it and i didnt want to send it back in cuz it would leave me with no lights.
