Wtf?!? Is something wrong??

I started harvesting my second crop yesterday, I was doing some today and I look inside the top bud of the plant I was getting ready to harvest and it was dark brown/black inside and it had sort of a wooly looking texture as I pulled it apart.

Does anyone know what this might be?

(All the other plants are ok)

I would take some pics but I only have a camera phone so you can't really see the detail.


EDIT.

After closer inspection I think it might just be dead leaf, I don't know how that happended though because it's only got it in the middle part of the top.

It sounds to me like mold but i could be wrong.

from pictures of mold i have seen, mold is white

its definatlet mold setting in keep a fan blowing strong on them mould will set in at night When the temprature drops humidity increases.

be careful smoking that
