Some of these mini-series need to be watched from the beginning to be appreciated.
dude, no one sits and watches tv anymore..you stream.
you completely have to ignore all of your friends and any reference to a show you want to watch for an entire season.
you hear it's out on netflix and voila!..you're caught up in one day..unlike others who are willing to submit to cliff hangers..
streamers must have it all and have it all NOW!

not dvr..just stream through netflix; no commercials.
plus you can knock out a whole season in one day if you wanted to.
i totally love kevin spacey but for some reason i haven't been able to get into "house of cards" and i don't know why.
right?..where the fuck are Ghost Hunters and all the summer shit?

TV rots your brain. If you are spending more than 2 hours a day watching it, you are most likely entranced. I seem to do just fine with less than 20 hours a year and am probably more informed than 90% of the TV Viewing populace. There is so much information coming at us from all angles, phones, TV, computer, internet, skype, twitter, etc etc that thehuman brain pretty much selectively ignores it all due to overlaod.
The only TV show series I have watched in the last 10 years. It's that good IMO.

Why stream it? either way the bandwith will be used, download it, legally of course and set a NAS server with a nice media player connected to the TV.
Can work for mac/windows/linux etc and has cross platform compatiability
