I think that's the only way legalized shrooms would work. Otherwise, I'd be quite fearful of Texas rednecks and their assault weapons slung over their shoulders and tripping on mushrooms.

We already have a society filled with shooters--people shoot up movie theaters, schools, Congressional baseball games, post offices (the term "going postal" referred to 1980s-era postal workers who snapped and shot up their post offices). And those folks weren't tripping on shrooms, but just some good ole anti-depressants and other pharmaceuticals.

I'm in the South. Just about everyone here has a gun, a big one, and they aren't afraid to use it.
