if it was on land by yours u could try saying you were just taking a walk through your land and happened to stumble onto em so you pulled em and were on the way back to call them about them lol.

Jesus, I wouldn't push my luck and go back for anything. But, if he is dumb enough to go back, sounds like he is. He should get a bird identification book and binoculars and go during the day. Cause you don't want go back out there with just your dick in your hands, and this way you'll have a reason being out in the middle of nowhere. I live in the south and hunt a lot and I've only heard of a few guys using these cameras. I think if it was the fuzz they'd just chop them down.

Look if he has 10 7ft+ plants, this is law enforcements big bust. They weigh that shit wet, plant and all, leaves and stems. So technically there going to weigh it all and be like o joy we busted 50 pound pot bust, HEADLINES.

Your friend needs to be smart, set the camera back up during the day, camo it with a new sim card. Place it towards your trail entrance, to see everyone walk by it. Go during the day, bring a girl if you have one, nature walk. Bring a nap sac with picnic shit in it, food, drinks, snacks, CONDOMS?!. A Bird book, binoculars. A little journal with bird sketches in it and a pencil. Nothing with grow materials, nutes, or water.

So you are just a hobbyist looking for a rare bird in you area, your a amatuer artist.

BE smart, the cops are going to think you coming in at night. Ever heard of motion sensers, the can send broadcasts up to 5 miles once there tripped. Im sure they are going to place one.

go during the day, regualr clothes like i told you. Have to out smart them

he should also get rid of the shoes he was wearing and start duct taping another pair. I'd erase his pics off the camera and put it back. Give it up. Whether its the cops or a hunter, they both have guns and neither one likes getting their shit stolen. Karma's a bitch. Those camera's can run into the thousands.

what... huh?

How fast can your friend run in a bigfoot suit carrying a big bag of freshly cut weed?
That is the funniest thing I have heard in years. +rep

These are all great, and conflicting ideas. Ranging from bird watching props, to duct taped shoes... obviously wouldn't want to do both. He is a dungeon gnome... a lazy one at that. He is just gonna go back once and cut it.

In this area, it would be a huge boon for local LEO... who are all hunters btw.

Noooooo. If it has a SIM card (maybe you meant SD card?) then the pictures have probably already been transmitted over the cell phone!!. If you took it apart then that would have stopped the transmission and now they know that you know that they know. If you go back wear a balaclava.

Grows compromised. Don't go back. Ever. He's dumb if he does, like others said, even if it is just a hunter, your shits gonna be missing or you will find a bear trap the hard way as someone pointed out. We don't like our shit being messed with. Cut his losses, and find another spot far far away. The jail time isn't worth it.

Bear traps? If he goes back and their are no traps then he should put some there. Someone is obviously teaching you a lesson, why don't you teach them one too.

First How the hell did he see that? Good eye, And second the new trail cams have GPS on them so if they get stolen they can be found, Also With that sim card in there it will send the picture right when it is tookin to some one email.

Cut the loss. But I put my money on hunter or ripper or even curious friend. Like others have said usually the cops pull em when they find em, If not they would have better watch than just that cam otherwise they would be kinda guilty of not doing there job. Kinda like allowing a robbery to happen in hopes of getting a snapshot of the criminal.

That cam doesn't let the cops know WHEN the grower comes to the plot just WHO or WHAT. so really if the face is covered and there is no other surveilence there are not doing a very good job. I could understand if say the cam did send info back to leo that could respond in mins and actually have a chance at catching someone.
Maybe it is just a hunter who wanted to know who is farming on his land and if this farmer may be a threat? Like should I go hunting today or is there going to be watchers out there willing to do anything for their crop. Or just curiosity.
I've thought of doing the same thing near one of my outdoor plots. Someone has found em, most likely a friend thats not a friend. It has since become my decoy patch cause I know it will get ripped, I'll give em those for the safety of the rest. Still wouldn't mind knowing who it is. Next year that patch gets all the males hahahahah. suckers!!!!

Is the grow on a reserve or trail of any kind? My mom rides horses on a trail that is also a preserve and she got an $88 ticket for going off the trail (which they do not allow).
She got caught by a motion camera that snaps photos and stuff like that.
