So i wanted to make some small plants. I was planning on starting the plants as seeds and veg them for 2 weeks then straight to flowering. I have a very simple aqarium light 15watts which is why i want to keep them small. I am going to use a small pot and regular planting soil. Do you think this can work? Start to finish?

-thanks

im kinda anewbie too, but i think that is definetely not enough light, even for one plant. and after 2 weeks of veg you will have hardly any plant, im thinking you should wait till they are 5-10 inches tall before flowering but again...im a newb too.
you will need at least a 75 watt bulb to grow in that i would think

i've been using a 13 watt cfl for a couple of months now and it is more than adequate for one plant or many sprouts in your case i could buy a larger light but i dont have any need yet, so your idea should work ok if youre only gonna have small plants although you might want to have some good reflection going on so that all of the leaves will get light, might want to upgrade for flowering though and obviously with a better light your plant will grow faster and bigger maybe but iam satisfied with what my 13 watt has done so far, and it uses little power =]

Yeah im testing my current setup with radish seedlings and they already grow 1/2inch in 3 hours. So i think it could work

The more light the better, even if you veg it with your light right now, you want at least 50-100watts for any kind of decent bud

yes you could veg a plant with 15 watts but you would not get more then a couple grams if you flower with that. that would be a huge waste of time and effort. just go pick up some cheap cfls, 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower. try to get 100 watts worth for flowering(1/2 plants)

First get a 23-42w CFL light or a couple then check out low stress training or LST
(130$ is money saved in electric)

Of course the light will work for seedlings bro,but not for flowering.Sounds like you need to read a little more before you start your grow. It'll save you a huge headache.

If i pick up 2 45watt cfls 6500k would that do just fine for one plant? Then i would switch them to 2700k for flowering

:weed:yes that would defintely work for veg and you would have small buds to harvest but that could change if you had 4 42w's.
