I have a foil pan around 1 1/2' Length 9"Width 4"deep, hold aproximatly a gallon of soil. Would this be able to support my plant if i LST it for 3 weeks then 12/12? or is this not deep enough? I didnt now if my plant would stretch its roots out long wasy or jsut get cramped in the depth. Also what are your oppinions on soils? I was going to search around for some fox grow but would any organic non nute soil be fine? Thanx for looking :leaf:

Def dont use that pan. Yup any non nute soil will be fine get some perlite to mix in with it 70% soil 30% perlite. Good luck

is the depth not deep enough or is it just the material its made out of? beacuse im doing this stealth and have a limit to space thats why going with the LST method in a rubbermaid tub. Depending on how big she gets during flowering is if im going to move her to a different box. What you guys suggest would be the shallowest the pot can be?

Where in the hell am I?

Not deep enough. If yer doin soil, then ya really wanna be able to have a few inches fer her roots to travel down. Yer gonna have drain holes, regardless, right?

Well you can have a shallow container and the plant will still grow but I would say get something at least 6-8 inches deep to make it worth your while. Also be sure that whatever you use has drain holes for extra water to drain out. As for soil, i always recommend Fox Farm Ocean Forest--it's what I use and I have great results with it (just don't add nutes for the first 3-4 weeks) But other organic soils can work well--Black Gold and BioBizz are very good.
