Would these inline fans work?

Has anyone used a S&P Mixed Inline Fan for exhaust on a cool tube light? Here are the fans : http://www.kitchensource.com/range-hoods/sl-td-100.htm

I will be using a 400W HPS Euro Reflector cool tube, but growing in a DR80 Dark Room, so not much space. These inline fans look small so they look good on space saving.

Think I could hook one of the "SL-TD-150 Inline Mixed Flow Fan for 6" Duct, 312 CFM" to a Goblin 6" Charcoal Filter and 400W Cool Tube and get good heat exhaust?

I would have to disagree.. thats just the same damn thing as a booster fan... they are junk... get someing with a real motor that will move some serious air for yourself... like a 6" inline blower from htgsupply ... TRUST ME

By overkill I meant high priced. A booster fan or inline from HTG ( Like that place - just got a 250w HPS for $130 shipped and got an upgrade to the agromax bulb/ballast) will work fine depending on fundage.

Thanks, but space is also of concern. I'm going to be growing in a 2'7" x 2'7" x 5'3" space (The DR80). So if I add the carbon filter (planning on using a Goblin 6" charcoal filter), 6" inline fan, & the 6" Euro Reflector 400W HPS Cooltube, it may not all fit. What do you guys think I should get? Thanks for all the advice.

these fans work awesome..this is the 150 hooked to a 13" can fan filter..ive got a rheostadt on it turned down to half way and it still moves alot of air...ive got another in the mail for my next room...they are commercial grade fans that are installed in homes and resturants so they are built to last and are super quiet..

Think that 150 would fit in the DR80? (2'7" x 2'7" x 5'3"), along with a cool tube and Goblin 6" Carbon Filter? How big around is that fan?

Wrong. The S&Ps are light years ahead of the el cheapo $30 inline boosters.

I have a TD150 on a 400W hood, and works killer.

i dont think so..unless you are really creative......is it possible for you to have your exauhst fan outside of the space? i think its about 11 or so inches around..if you check that link i posted there are some specs on there...

a 6inch duct fan 160cfm for $25 will cool a 400w perfectly, but since he's adding a carbon filter to it hes gonna need more CFM, personally for that setup HTG has the combo fan/filter for 200, its a 6in 450cfm inline....serves me very well nice strong quality for the price

I think for HTG fans are too big to put into the DR80. That's the main reason why I was looking at the S&D inline fans.

No, there's no real way for me to put the fans outside of the tent. I live in an apartment. What kind of set up do you think would work in the DR80?

i just bought an attwood bildge blower for my 400 HPS cool tube w filter. I will be doing a test run in my cab this week to test temps humidity ect. you can get these for cheap and it puts off some air. 4" has 200 open system CFM. probably less than $100. they are used on boats to vent fumes and shit from enclosed places.
