bongsmiliehey i was wondering if instead of crossing strains with pollen n hairs n getting a seed n starting over...
i wonderd if u can say get three different strains of ur choice..then getting one branch n cut out a little gap n do the same to the other stains..then were there is an open wound on the branches put em togerther.. then tie it wit somthing? as it would heal it would heal with the other branches and become one branch rite? well then once its all healthy snip it off n root it? would it carry the same genitics of all three strains? because clones carry the same as the mom? so im jus wondering u think it would work ? and add the traights of the other strains?? :eyesmoke:

I heard of this with other planet & flowers... But never with bud...

You could try it with some closely related strains... But it would be a lot of hard work and nurturing...

Probably not worth your efforts really...

After doing a little research, I'm swinging to no for this idea...

If you managed to be successful, it would be like a black guy having a white guys arm transplanted on to his body...

Rejection would be the first worry... and even if it did take no genetic material would be exchanged...

Stick with selective breeding, its proven itself time and time again...

even if you could manage to 'graft' some different strains together, it would not be crossing anything really. The 3 different strains would remain independant, but they would all just feed from the same root system. It is just pointless to even try it really.

I have known it done with different apple trees, or oranges and lemons for example. But these are plants that flower every year, not like with marijuana which has just one life cycle, then it dies.....or we kill it and smoke the bud! hehehehe :bigjoint:

Only reqson why i would say its hard is because of the thickness of the branch is so small. I planted a orange when i was 10 years old at my grandmothers but in order for it to grow oranges you had "splice" a branch from a orange alrady producing oranges to the tree not producing oranges... experiement on the way lol
