WOS Afghan Kush Ryder

Has anyone heard of any issues with WOS Afghan Kush Ryder seeds, not auto flowering? I have WOS AK Ryder seeds purchased from Attitude in June of 2011, and finally around to growing one. After about 5 weeks and no flowering, i finally decide to change lights to 12/12 and now finally its flowering. All other autos I have grown there are signs of flowering within 2-3 weeks.

Thanks

This thing is huge as well. Its almost 3 feet tall. I have about 5 inches left until I run out of vertical space. I guess ill have to figure out a way to tie this girl down. For my needs I don't think this is a good strain for me due to the size of this plant. I doubt i will grow anymore of this, which is a sad waste of seeds.

I've grown AKR out now about 12 times. Always done in 8-9 weeks in soil. Roughly 1.5 ozs dry per plant.

They start to flower in week 3-4 from seed. Total height of plant about 1.5 feet above pot with some LST.

Mine have all been consistent over the last couple years.

I think you got an odd ball seed.

Here is a picture of my freakish AKR. I mean the plant looks awesome i just had no idea it would get so huge. I'm tempted to start pruning the fan leaves to allow more light, etc since I really don't have enough light in my opinion for a plant this size. Ive never pruned a weed plant, so if anyone knows where to find a good tutorial on pruning, please let me know :)

I can't see your pot. If it is plastic, drill some holes in the rim of the pot about every 2-3 inches. Then tie some of those taller branches down so the top 5-10 inches of those branches are horizontal. That will give you some more room to play with.

Don't stop growing something because of height issues. There are so many different things you can do with these plants whether it be an auto or a photo.

Very nice looking plant BTW....

It might look like a freak and be growing like one but damn sure looks healthy. Nice grow! I'm a noob at growing and still learning but I do agree with HighLowGrow, do some LST or even super cropping.

This is a hydro system, so no pot or soil which is first for me. I really don't want to drill any holes into my hydro system, but I will figure something out for sure if it comes down to it. I will only grow hydro from now on, soil may be easier, but with hydro you get to control every aspect of the nutrients, water, and quality.

Sorry to go off topic but what is an average yield for this plant? I am growing some now in 2 gallon pots, they range from 45 - 70cm in height.

So about 2 feet average. Have they flowered yet? In 5 gallon pots running 24/0 lighting i get 3 to 5 ounces a plant.

3 to 5 ounces thats nice mate, have a few questions if you could please fill me in, i would greatly appreciate it. I have some going now and atm its looking like around an oz per plant as a guess. Do they swell much in the last 2 weeks?

What light do you use?
How much floorspace do you allow for each plant?
How tall they get?
How many days from seedling to harvest do they take?
How long do you flush them for before harvest?
Do you include stems or just pure bud in the yield numbers?
What nutrients do you use from start to finish (list please )?

Thanks man, appreciate it, please answer all questions :)
