No this is her actual shape. no thinning or anything. this is a clone from my last grow though. the first cycles the clone mother was about 5 feet tall with the same branching. last cycles clone mother was 6.5 feet with the same branching as well. i like the way it grows. light can penetrate to the center without me even touching anything. i have never pulled a single leaf and dont think i will have to this cycle either.

LOW MAINTENANCE!!
thats awesome... its just that ive seen the variations that the lsd strain has had and that was the first that i have seen it grow in "such" reduction of the amount of "fingers on the leaves"... and just figured you "decorated" it to make it "blend" in better due to... well you know stupid choppers ;)

wasnt quite talkin about the overall shape just being facetious about the leaves themselves... ;)

i love kc's genetics, its just that you have to be patient to find the right pheno... i wasnt dogging them... just giving it like it is with regards to the growth in variation over the years of what was really stable and consistent to now not so stable... ;)

kc 45 = not so good... however there are a few great phenos of kc 36 and if your lucky there is what i call a super pheno of the 36 which is oddly sativa leaning and the only small drawback if you dont have the space, it will stretch like crazy during flowering though... but most importantly it will have a very strong high, not only that, but buds that plump up so much that they will actually need to be tied up from the top to keep them from bending over the stems ;)
sorry really wasn't implying just you i have made comments on other threads about kc and seem to get nothing but hate and unproven claims thrown at me. i agree you have to look for the pheno but i was lucky enough to find 2 in the 36, the lemon pheno is one pictured and it smells just like lemon pledge and the high is really good.found a nice pheno in the california special as well and it has a resin covering that rivals any white widow, great orange taste but the high just ain't kick ass.saving this one for breeding purposes. But i should be getting my tude order first of the week and be firing 6 new strains (white widow, white rhino, the church, ams, trainwreck, critical kush.):joint:

thats cool... i know it was a generalization coming from your earlier post about no love for kc brains...

i was just throwin out there some better explaination for my view on their genetics... ;)

yeah the lemon piney pledge smell it has is awesome btw...

rivals that of any lemon strain... ;)

yes... there are many strains regardless of brand or breeder (some just have a higher genetic disposition than others) which have the tendency to herm... and here is a couple of reasons why... when breeders breed in bunches as in "fields of plants freely spreading their genetics around... they are used to having males around them...

so the females get pollinated early and have much less reason to add on the other gender... ;)

some though still if not pollinated to their liking, still throw a banana in or two anyways, and that pollen gets spread with all of the rest and that genetic info was just spread as far as the wind will take it, then after years of this... the trait has had its chance to increase...

like i said before if taken the time (not really that much effort) to sort out the good phenotypes then your chances of hermies will greatly reduce and you can get some excellent phenos where you get great plants with high thc high yield, and a negligible chance of the beans becoming hermies...

and of course just keep cloning the mother ;) and only roughly 1/1000 generations of clones will ever hermie on you ;)

just be sure to pay attention to the ones that after a long while start to throw 1 or 2 bananas and just "slightly" hermie AND DO NOT take their seeds and plant them and "allow" them to continue their genetic traits...

you want to turn "natural selection" into "controlled domestication"... ;)

otherwise you will have a long line of issues where the trait becomes more and more dominant and instead of just a "few" bananas, you'll get half and half where its full blown hermaphroditism... ;)

when males disappear your chances of hermies goes up... when stress goes up your chances of hermies goes up... there are alot of factors that can bring this out in any strain...

the ones that are more "stable" are the ones whose genetic variation has not had time to be "forced" or "allowed" into hermaphroditism so to speak...

again its all due to the genetics that have developed in the lineage over time, as all cannabis varieties all have the capability to, as a female, to grow pollen in an attempt to continue its "life" in a maleless environment so to speak...

just as a quote from the movie jurassic park where jeff goldblum said... and its true... life does really find a way... ;)

and why the hell not... ;)

a great lesson, with a great last line. +rep

that's interesting because i've had great experiences with both g13 and hindu kush. g13 grew fast and healthily, and the hindu was in a sog and the high from that was fantastic.

i might have to take back the statement i made a few months ago saying that KC-45 was the worst. it was just a batch of bad seeds. the one and only female seed turned out to be an absolute BEAST. 3.5 feet tall and about 4.5 feet wide. i cannot wait to see what the buds are going to be like. as of right now.. i am happy again!!

here she is on 11 March when she started to show her sex, potted in a 3 gallon plastic planter bag, and here she is today planted in a 10 gallon breathable smart pot.

G13...I read it required a lil extra attention but it just wasn't for me. The thing is I'm not prepared to say that it's a bad strain as someone else could have just as easily had a positive result. I also found Hindu Kush to be a weaker grower in general but at the same time, one turned out to be very resilient. As each strain's demand will be slightly different...it takes much time to solve the equation. This is why I prefer strains that allow more room for error and not so perfect conditions. I like heat/humidity/mold resistant, easy to clone strains. IMO, the first step is good genetics as most people can't afford to make big mistakes.

Avoid DNA Rocklock too......... just terrible. This strain should be removed from their offerings!

The shit is fucking nasty. Look at all the leaves in that bud. Barneys farm buys cannabis cup awards. Frankly I was asking for opinions on the strain, it's my opinion. You aren't going to change my mind, and maybe you should check the name of the thread. I think you might want to go post this in your favorite strain thread. I've seen a lot of people like it, but there have been some that absolutely think it is the worst ever.
I've officially run out an LSD now and I do know I'll never run it again.I dont know about worst but theres far far better things to run than that. I'll be sticking with Sannies genetics mostly.

Barney's farm LSD!! I have grown it twice and it sucks. It can barely handle any nutrients and the little amount I give the plant still overnutes. Plus it grows real lanky for being an indica.
My Barney's LSD was the same. Fucking scrawny and unimpressive in all areas.

I've read of a couple strains on here that I have ran that were 2 of my favorites and those were Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk and GHS Super Lemon Haze. My PC was some of the stinkiest shit ever. It stunk so bad that I was paranoid as hell because you could smell it outside my crib big time. My friends mom come over and was like what is that skunk smell. Lol! I told her that skunks are around here all the time. Lol! The SLH was some of the most resinous buds that I have ever seen and my plant was finished in 62 days I think.

Now I would have to say my White Label White Widow was absolute shit. Well, it was some mid grade bud. I got almost 3 oz off of her, but I didn't care for the smoke. Gave alot away. I saw someone with a good grow of an auto from Delicious Seeds called La Diva, and I didn't care for that weed at all. It flowered quick as fuck, and I now know why auto's are so appealing. You can get bud from seed to harvest in 2-3 months ddepending on strain. I just think you give alot in quality for such a quick flowering time. And that is why I won't be growing them but maybe once in a blue moon. I am about the best that I can grow, because I grow for personal reasons only. I just had to chop my Barney's Farm Blue Cheese during my current grow because the SOB hermied on me. Asshole Blue Cheese! This was my 1st feminized seed that I have had hermy on me too, but I will grow it again. You can't judge a strain by 1 seed alone.

So basically alot of these strains that people are saying are the worst are probably some of the best for others. And it like someone else on here said that some of these strains and the breeders are complete shit. It's so hard to weed all the good one's from the bad one's isn't it my fellow RIU's! There are so many breeders with so many strains, and I wish that I could grow them all, but I can't grow more than 4 at a time or else it is a felony cultivation charge in my neck of the woods. I will take my chances on a misdemeanor charge. I'm getting older, and I don't have but a couple people over to my house besides my grandmother, so I doubt that I will have any problems as things are now a days in my life. Plus, I work Monday thru Friday and sometimes on Saturdays too. Anyways I have a great buzz right now and got a little off track with the thread here. Lol! :weed:

Oh and I am growing some Ak-47 and OG#18 right now, and they are both looking great on day 21 of flowering.

Lowlife seeds Ak47 x Lowryder auto. 4 females out of ten..whatever. One grew into a 3 headed mutant 5 foot tall..which was weird considering these plants are supposed to be dwarfs..but ok. Thing was nasty smell like burnt tires and at 90 days virtually no trichomes. Could NOT get high off this crap. Made oil from a whole plant..worthless. Compost..

I'm currently having problems with Tahoe OG only growing 1 not sure if it's me being heavy handed with the nutes or the OG just being very sensitive either way i'll try again next run and see if the others are any different
