So i had a supplemental cfl above 1 of my colas and last nite i didn't check on my grls (STUPID) and this morning the light had fallen and was on top of the cola. The cola was totally dried out!!!!!!! and its only been 5 weeks of flowering. it was 1 of the best colas too and would've grown sooo much bigger!!!. is itpossible to bring it back to health or shud i just smoke it now that it's dry???

the first 2 pics r of the dried cola and there is 1 of some sick leaves that i think are from lack of nitrogen. and 1 shot is a cola that still hasn't show nanyt growth in almost 2 weeks.

very crispy - i dont think i would need to dry it any more if i were to cut it off the plant and smoke it now.

Take off a bit, smoke it. I would imagine its dead, I had a little plant touch a CLF and it died, like it DIED, but it was just a seedling.

I would say if its good take it off and let the others grow. My 2c.

I wouldn't rush anything. Just let her heal for a while and see. She may have a dry cola now but the injury just may create some good flowering energy for you. I have heard of many stories of "scarring" to increase the vitality of the plant over all.

DO NOT PANIC.

I can't see where leaving it alone will do any more damage. The only theory that may be sound is that it may SUCK energy from the rest of the plants while it tries to heal. I don't know what to tell ya. I would leave it. That's just my way. What's the worst that can happen? It'll still be crispy later? That's where you are now. There won't be any THC in a bud that's only 5 weeks in, just not worth the sacrifice. If you have a GIANT plant that will produce a ton, it might be worth cutting off to save the plants energy.

If you cut it off it will slow the flowering at least. The damage is already done. Surely not ALL the cola is lost. She will grow. Let the bud live.

SAVE THE BUD.
CHOOSE LIFE.

yeah, i just cut the branch off... i'll go take a pick for you to show you how it looks now... this is on the same plant that's main stem split in half after some not so low-stress training (ha, it was my first time trying that)

i'll put them up in a couple minutes =]
be right back

this is what the plant look like now... the branch being taken off had no real bearing on the rest of the plants health

even this spilt where i topped it has hurt it too too much

you can see where i cut it... that was also where the cfl was resting and dried up thoroughly

another pick of the same thing... even the bud just short or that part is growing fine
