Worried about space

Is there anything I can do to slow the growth of my plant? She's grown 10" in the last 5 days. I have been on the 12/12 cycle for 7 days now and she's begun to show her white hairs (name?). She looks great, but I'm worried I'll run out of space if she keeps growing at this rate. I measured and I have 26" of space left for growth. Anymore and she'll be hitting the light all the way up on the ceiling.

can u get the light closer. the closer the light the less the plant will try to strech. The nodes will come closer together as well.

I guess I could bring it down, I'm just worried about burning the plant. I have it 9" away from the light right now. It's a 400w HPS.

not to scare you but you should be worried about space since they can double or even triple in size once you switch to 12/12. The only thing i know to do (after flowering starts) is to gently tie them down. Before switching to 12/12, you can prune, top and tie.

heat was my problem for a while. last year I got a air cooled light hood and I can get them 1-2" from the glass.here are some pics of my custom box. I also use a 400w mh. soon to be a 600 mh/hps digital. merry christmas to me
