Woot! Finally Sprouting

Hey Guys! My plants finally started to sprout (they are only about an inch tall, maybe a little less). Im growing in a hydroponics drip system under 400WMH and a bunch of cfl's. When should I start adding nutes? I have flora series nutes. How much should I add?

I planted the germinated seeds about a week ago, so they are quite young, but looking nice and healthy so far!

HEY grower, do you have a PPM meter?

You need one of these... start with a ppm of 200 and then after a few days raise it to 400....

The pH will need to be 5.8

cheers

PPM is 210 just out of the tap, and PH is a steady 5.7 - 6.1. When should I start adding nutes, and how much?

210 is pretty high right outta the tap..

add nutrients now... use a 1/5 or 1/10th amount of the recommended dosage and get the ppm up to 300... then wait a few days and raise it to 400... then wait a few more days and raise it to 500 etc..

super dark green leaves are a sign that the plant has reached its threshold... brown tips are a sign that the plant has been over fed..

keep a journal with the plants age (from germination) and the ppm /ph of the water... you can use this knowledge for your next grow..

the idea is to KEEP the ppm as high as possible without burning your plant...
