How close should i keep my 175w metal halide bulb to my plant

As close as you can while maintaining proper temps. I hear 77-78 Fahrenheit is the magic temp, but that can probably vary by strain. But more experienced growers should probably verify this info I have just given you...

Well then, I would say shoot for anywhere between 70 - 85 degrees while vegging it for a while. If it looks short and bushy, likely indica dominant. If it looks tall and lanky, likely sativa dominant. Sativas take a little longer to flower and like higher temps than an Indica. Give us some pics when you can!

i have alot of therer video's downloaded to gergeo cervantes and see more buds i am kind of looking for a step by step and i have 4 floresent lights for the seedling and veg and i have 150 watt metal halide and i 250 watt hps light to so i have most of the things i need i have ph up and down and test stripsi have nutriance and i have a dueal air fizz system with to 5 inch net pots but everytime i put my plants into it they die i don't know how to run the system and i just bought it i also have dripper lines to that i can use and i have rockwool big cubes like 4x4x4 to and alot of starter cubes i just want to know how i can uses the bubble system corectly like i add 14 liters of water and i know what nutes i ahve to put in but i don't know how to place the plants from drownding or what ever is happeng like how do i palce the plants i know once they have 4 sets of leaves i can put them in but how do i put them in like do i put clay pellets first then the cube and plant then more clay pellets like how far from the water do tehy ahve to be
