wondering if this would work...

I'm up late wondering how to exhaust since I dont have a sewer or dryer outlet. I was wondering If exhausting in a cold water reservoir would work? so that the heat doesnt just go back out into the room where the tent is in so that air can remain cold enough to cool the lights.

I would built use a vent tubing the same size as my tubing. close up the bottom poke some holes on the sides and attached my ducting to the tubing just outside the water with the holes in the tubing being under the water. i would probably have to use something inside the tube as a weight to keep it submerged in the water.

Let me know if this as been done before or if its even possible. Thank you.

I doubt any fan out there has the static pressure you would need to overcome the water pressure..................so sorry, fail

Yea I think you may hurt your fan, it will push hard against the water. But I may have a idea. If the pipe goes through the water and up into a container where the pipe exits, bit difficult to explain, think hidden underwater base. :-) That way the air exits in a enclosed space and the water would help to hide the smell.

The thing though is, anything can work but you really need fresh air. If there is no vent at all, where does the fresh air come from. The you may as well not have a extractor and just ad some fans, but in the end this will affect your product I think. But if your room does not get that hot, you may get away with it. As long as there is plenty of space and good circulation you will be fine. It all depends on the scale of your op.

fresh air is coming from a crack in the window. I was planning on setting it up as a air bubble. and make that air pushed thru make bubbles with the water... same concept as an air pump. I dont see why that wouldnt work because its not going straight to the water... its passing it on...

could you sort of submerge the pipe and push the air truogh that? in other words, water cool the exhaust vent pipe? water is going to absorb the heat in any evevt and then you will have to cool the water somehow.
or if humidity is not an issue you could set up a makeshift swamp cooler type gizmo and have youself a little air conditioning for the room.
dont think the buds would like it though, maybe too much humidity but at the moment aswamp cooler sounds pretty damned good up here in my own private idaho
