i been woundering and trying to find machines to brake up the stalk??? or even to make it fibers for thread with all the trash of growing as i have done im thinking its not fun to toss it in trash and posably get a tweeker or some random dude trying to recycle cans can get you caught up or the mission of dumping the trash thier got to be away to do something about it i have alot of ideas i might have offended a person i respect but i didnt mean anything other than the stalk its a win win situation everyone grows even the last person you imagined you can probley come up big time and not risk all the negative factors of loosing on a grow if only the stalk is all you want from every grower and for free???? the only problem is the testing of the material alot of bud is not regulated so the stalk would be the same ,and thats scary as for the material your handling????

There's a local guy who's soaking the stalks, shredding and using them as fiber in concrete for his house. Natural straw alternative.
ya i do want to do this but the fiber is it good or is it also got contaminets?? thank you!!! Alienwidow

If anyone knows more about using hemp stalks this way I'm all ears. I'd like to build an earth sheltered greenhouse someday, and it seems like a worthy enough building material to help firm up the foundation...
i would just pour a concreate footing and build hemp walls and floors from their im thinking about it..

It would have to be rot proof, water proof and solid, being the foundation of a greenhouse. I think the guy was chopping up the sticks into short pieces and soaking them prior to mixing them into concrete, basically like a natural fiber additive. I'm guessing, I've no idea what steps I might be leaving out.
