Winter Growing

Is winter growing possible outdoors? i live in central california.

My guess is depends on the temperatures you get around there

I'd recommend against it. I live in LA and it can get too cold even here to have a healthy plant. It would be best to start up an indoor garden at this time of year.

and how would i do that without stinking up my entire apartment....?

Secure them in an enclosed space and vent the air outside. Or you could use something like an Ozium dispenser set on heavy mode to sanitize the air, thus eliminating the smell.

Keep in mind what I said is only my theory. I'll need an experienced grower to back me up on that.
