Prime glue male. I want to use him for pollen. Am i risking him jizzing all over my plants ? Been 2 weeks flowering, he looks fast. Any incite from someone with experience please offer up any suggestions. @skunkwreck @eastcoastmo @Eastcoasttreez @shorelineOG @BobBitchen ......

A couple pollen sacs are ooen. , he done jizzed already a lil.

Looks like some have opened but upon inspection they are opening but no pollen or anything resembling it yet. I've taken him out of the flower room, squished some open sac , nothing yet.
Will he continue his normal cycle of maturing his sacs if i were to put him in a closet with shitty 12/12 light?

Yes he will , a 23w cfl would suffice. Do you know how you're gonna collect your pollen ?

Not really, still researching different ppls methods.

Let me know what you find out here I have never done this before either but very interested.

Sure thing. I know for sure that pollen is a mofo and will get everywhere. Have to collect pollen (still looking up how), seal pollen , isolate female to be pollinated(before pollen collection to ensure flower room doesn't get contaminated ), using a thin paint brush lightly dust a branch with said pollen, quickly place a baggy over the branch, i assume a day or so would be fine before baggy comes off and another day before shes returned to the flower room, and i think taking a shower, change of clothes, no fans running etc should do the trick

I know i can just use a piece of paper to collect pollen but im looking at different methods and checking which would be effective in my setup

Thanks. Im excited now guys. Hopefully i can complete my first f2 without seeding everything lol

Just make sure buddy, whatever you do, don't go looking at your girls after collecting pollen...the shit sticks to EVERYTHING. So if you don't want your whole crop seeded, collect the pollen after checking on your girls good luck champ and enjoy the process!!

Thanks easty! Alot depends on this run so if i do it at all, i will be super careful.
I heard that some ppl even jump in the shower with the clothes they had on to prevent spreading pollen, anyone heard of this?

Can you separate a space to put the male with a female or two or three

Do that and just get like one of those painters body suits and a mask to go in and out of the area with those disposable slip on sandals like the cleaning people wear............

Yes! I thought about that as well, i have access to those disposable suits. Gotta ask my girls boss. Now to find some sutiable lighting for a few days. Im thinking i can put the female in my veg closet? But that would have to be after im sure there is no stray pollen on her.

I just figure if you have the space it would make the whole thing easier. Not as much worry about contamination and the suit well that's self explanatory. Get in/out of a suit or shower with my clothes on hmmm.....

Let us know how it goes, then you'd have a shit ton of seeds too if you can throw a few fems in there with him...........this is getting me excited lol because I've wanted to breed too but I think I need some more grow exp first before complicating my life like that lol. All the beans I have ever bought is stuff I wanted to have and/or cross with something else.

When you can start doing that and if you have access to cuts you're set forever. But then you need a room for moms and dads lol.......

Keep a spray bottle handy with water in it, water kills pollen. I usually do the dusting and then spray hands and clothes.
A suit would be a good idea...would be a fair hassle if you are just dusting a few branches though.
It's when you are collecting that you worry about it. As soon as you pick up that boy, you watch the pollen lol, it fly's off everywhere!!

Maybe build a cabinet like vader?
