Wind fan & solar

Well well well, if it isn't another CAN OF WORMS question!

Are you trying to run the entire thing on DC with no inverters? You might lose more energy than you save just getting that low voltage power from the panels to the grow room.

The answer is of course, "yes, BUT-"

BUT without a battery somewhere you're going to be dropping out between dusk and dawn plus cloudy days.

BUT you'll need more panels than you might think.

Plus many more "buts" than an all girl review at the strip club.

It will cost more to grid tie your solar system but you'll get more out of it, including the ability to expand and offset your house power usage, bring able to run pumps and fans with grid energy at night, etc etc

Unless you're already totally off grid I don't see the point of a DC solar setup. Just run a greenhouse with opaque panels.

Sooo.. we have an evil easterly wind that will run all day sunny days strong sea wind. The circuit is power to a solar controller to the battery and the inverter to draw from. There is no requirement to supply the home just the grow room.
If the answer is yes, can we discuss grow room design I am CAD technician.
