Wind burn? Overwatered?

Hi, have a bag seed GG4 at 7 weeks flower. Noticed the leaves on buds canoeing while fan leaves seem normal though the fan leaf stems are turning red. Up to 2 days ago everything has been fine. I don’t know ph of water. Plant is in 5 gallon pot with weep holes. I have not watered in 3 days figuring I would let the soil dry out. So close to harvest I am not sure what steps if any I should take? Advice?

It's difficult for people to help when you don't know the pH, however it's not often the cause of problems, why do you suspect wind burn?
Ime its only the areas the fan was blowing on directly, the leafs outside the blast zone should be fine.

What have you been feeding it?

I live close to the coast in mid coast Maine so the prevailing wind NW is almost constant. Also I have a huge yard and move my plants for the sun. i have been feeding FF Big Grow up until 4 weeks in flower, I also added FF Tiger Bloom during flower. The fan leaves don’t have the curl but I noticed their stems are turning red. First grow and next year I will get a ph meter. I have hard water but also have a water softener. Everything was rolling smoothly up until 3 or 4 days ago when I noticed the bud leaves curling.

It's certainly possible it's the wind I'm not familiar with your climate so it's difficult to say, however I'd expect the leeside to be fine, I would hedge towards the nutrient being touch strong or not getting enough run off?

Fwiw a pH kit is 100% every time a pH pen has a limited life span before you get iffy reading, they are a great thing if you're using them multiple times a day but outside of that get a £2\3 kit.

Would it be possible to put up a fine net or screen up to shield your crop from the worst of the wind?

I'm leaning towards too strong with the nutes. 4 weeks into flower with FF grow big sounds like the issue. You've discontinued, and they look healthy otherwise.

I'm not exactly sure what causes the reding of stems, nutrient pk, age, strain?

I'm inside and see it with as close to ideal as I can maintain atm 18.4c dark and 25.5/26c light.
But it would be interesting to hear what the cause is if there is a cause?
