I think its funny when noobs get on here asking for help then tell the people helping they are wrong.

Generally in life when someone takes the time to help you when you ask you should be humble and say thank you.

Now I didn't get rude let's see if you do the same.

Ff will feed longer than 3 weeks most likely. The plant has its own food stored for the first few weeks of its life then if ff feeds for 3 weeks you wouldn't need nutes for at least six weeks.

Back off nutes and flush it. Less is more. Your making a common mistake of over feeding.
cool yea its easy to do, especially when you aren't seeing burn as a noob. She exploded over night. Grew 3 days in 1. The added light and the flush i did helped out immensely. Curious to see if thats all it was. I figured grow big was overkill for this plant in her conditions but learning to spot that stuff takes experience. Ill get better i hope. Thanks for the time to comment.

I wish fertilizer companys like fox farm & such would use truth in advertising , they make great soil & it has enough nutes allready available to the plant where you should be able to grow for 6 weeks atleast , the 3 week directions are geared tword them selling more nutrients , not whats best , in a 12/12 from seed or clone situation adding nutes at week 3 is overkill .
.
As per FoxFarm, If you are going to use the Happy Frog by itself you will want to feed within 1-2 weeks of planting. The Happy Frog is a little more mellow than Ocean Forest and has enough nutrients for 1-3 weeks depending on how fast your plants are growing.

All of our soils are pH adjusted between 6.2 and 6.8 so you will not need to worry about adjusting the pH of the soil.

I just went back and re read to see wtf people got so upset about. Somebody didn't get credit for an idea they had that might be your problem. Guess they don't know that helping is it's own reward. What a pitiful life to have so much anger and get upset over such a petty thing. People need to grow up. Don't sweat it, people that have the time and energy to put people down for no reason tend to not have a gratifying existence. Haters gonna hate I guess. Looks like you were being upfront with everything, even when it was discovered that the timer was coming on. Being a newb means learning to troubleshoot and sometimes it's so obvious we miss the issue, even old hands do that. The problem with this site is people figure out a way and have partial understanding and a lot of beliefs. Man people fight and kill for beliefs. There's vultures circling this site on the daily waiting to pick at ya. Cause they ain't got a life. What's that saying? You point your finger but there's 3 pointing back at you, yeah it's called looking in the mirror and as soon as the judgements start flying you start to see it. Calling people posers and shit, this site is all about posers. Too bad they tend to get in the way of people trying to learn and asking for help.

yea lol a man beard for your bitch ass
Ha ha ha nice try, you're still about 20 years younger than me. And for the record, I was laughing at the video, not the reference to you. Go back to highschool and learn some manners, people in here were trying to help and you acted like a little kid. Yep, I was a noob once, but I always appreciated peoples advice and never acted like a school kid who dropped their lollypop and cried about it!

Shit man those instructions will kill a plant , you can grow a seed in coco with zero nutes longer than what fox farms says , 1 to 2 weeks the plant is gonna be 6 inches tall & FF is talkin about adding fertilizer ! , another reason i hate FF.

If FF soil is so lacking in nutrients it needs fertilized within 1-3 weeks then wtf are you guys paying for , $1.99 a bag home depot potting soil has enough nutrients to go 5 to 6 weeks but FF needs feeding allmost immediately? Im so fukin confused how people buy that garbage they sell .

I got manners, and a bigger beard than someone one 20 years older than me but thats beside the point. The point is you gotta earn respect and you don't do it by being a troll sir. Vulture, buzzard, troll, baby, whatever. Don't do it. If you don't have advice then step off.

I just want to mention some things that were touched on early. Seedlingss kinda have a veg time under 12/12, not sure how long that is, but it isn't the same as throwing a mature clone into flower. Also I have seen people throw lots of nitrogen at big outdoor plants in flower. They were bigger but didn't really yield all that much, did not taste as good and took a little longer to finish (which may be the taste connection). I have thrown heavy nitrogen at plants revegging and they turned around a week sooner than the rest that didn't get the treatment. I think high nitrogen definitely has an effect. And there is range of tolerance with light leaks, you can get away with some but it's a little complicate IMO, but if your light came on, that was surely it.

This is a huge site with lotsa members , some are here to share grow knowledge while others are here to have fun killing time , lotsa different personalities with folks .

Best way to go about learning from the site is to ask your questions & dont get drawn into the drama .
