Thanks for the heads up but I'm actually not growing any MJ at my residence just veggies. Appreciate all the help kalikitsune
No problem. Silica will ensure that your tomatoes won't need so much extra support when they start getting FAT tomatoes growing on them!

I'm watching impressive growth from my DWC tomato. I made a measuring stick out of LEGOs last night, put it up before I went to sleep, woke up 8 hours later, the plant had already grown over the stick and is almost touching my light. Two inches of growth in 6 hours of darkness. I love DWC.

DWC in a 5 gallon bucket will absolutely work and its a cheap and easy way to get into the hobby. Check out my thread from last year, the first few sets of photos are dead but click on and you will see the monster pepper plant that I grew https://www.rollitup.org/gardening/99942-dwc-bucket-chili-pepper.html

I am just now starting a second grow, I have a Fatalli pepper seed sprouted but im actually leaning more towards doing some herbs, thinking about putting three 3" net pots in in a 5gal bucket lid to grow 3 varieties. what do you all think about that idea?
