Will this Nute work?

My plant is 21 days old and is a little over 6 in tall. It's looking health except for the end of the tips of some sets of leaves are starting to curl a little. I'm pretty sure it's due to a little over watering or possible the fact that it needs nutes? I just bought Osmocote Flower and Vegetable Plant Food. It's smart release which i assume is slow release? It says it can feed the plant up to 4 months and is formulated for flavorful vegetables and colorful blooms. It also says it's guaranteed not to burn your plant. Its NPK is 14-14-14. I'm using Miracle Grow Potting Mix with a NPK of 21-7-14. How do you think these nutes will work out for my plant? And any feedback on the currling on the leaves it appreciated. Here's the URL to the site (Click Here). I really wanted to get some organic plant food but wasn't able to find any at Lowe's, how close is this to organic nutrients?

I wouldn't use any kind of slow release stuff cause you will never be able to flush it out before harvest, infact flushing it would probably just release more fert. How could you not find organic stuff at lowes, my lowes has crap loads of the MG organic stuff.
