Will this bring bugs in my house?

My friend is having his house inspected and cant keep his plants due to obvious reasons. He has asked me to keep his plants at my house. The problem is he has had issues with mites, and I am worried it will spread to my plants. If my garden is in my basement, would it be safe to let him keep them on our second floor upstairs? I would keep them in the garage but it will be twenty degrees out :(

that's a tough one as I hate to turn my back on any plant. However if its got mites, I would definatly reconsider. There is this spray called "Liquid Ladybug" check it out. That's what I would use. Make sure you change cloths and everything before you go into your room, if you do take this friends plant home. It only takes 1 mite brother.

I can't say for sure that it will repel mites, specifically, but cedar planks are a natural insect repellent. That's why theyuse it to line closets. Since I started I have always used cedar planks to get my plants closer to the lights, instead of moving the lights. They also repel fleas, in case you have pets.
