Will this adapter work for PC Fans?

Hi mate, i find this type of multi plug best for a pc fan, if you cut the adaptor of the end, shred the wires back and connect them to the pc fan, job done.
If you get the one with diff setting's for the volts, (like in the pic)it kinda works like a fan speed, so the higher you move the switch to the faster the fan goes, works a right treat to be fair

Hope this helps

Peace

yeah, I use several of these on my cabinets already, my question is about this specific adapter and if 'Switching Adapter' compensates for the lack of '12VDC' on the output rating.

Onthe netgear plug... Ya see where it says 12 V @ 1 amp? I don't think those biscuit fans will last long at 1 amp.

That's not how amperage works. The fans will only draw what they need. The adapter can provide up to 1amp. Also, PC fans range from the low of .13amps to some of the higher RPM ones at close to 1amp.

What I need to know is, Does Switching-Adapter = AC to DC output even if the Output Rating does not explicitly say DC

Enclaved,

The output of that adapter is DC, see the line with the 3 dashes under it next to +12 that means the output is DC. It has a positive 12V DC output and can deliver 1 amp to it's load.
