Will these Buds catch up?

Howdy Folks.. Got kind of a noob question for ya's. I have 3 plants outside. I got a late start on them, and have been manipulating their sun time to 12/12 since they were about a foot tall, in hopes they would finish before it got to cold. This has been going good so far.. Buds are getting noticeably fatter everyday.

Here is my question.. I didn't top these guys. so one main cola per plant. I noticed they all have a gap in them, and have what look to me like one calyx on each side of the stem, where two buds should pop out, and fill the bud in.. BUT these two calyx on each plant have been there for over a month.. not doing anything.. each has a pistol, that has already turned red. Why arent these things exploding into buds, and catching my Cola's up?

My firend saw them and said they looked like pollen sacks.. and I noticed them swelling over the last 2 days.. Any info would be great.

I have no idea if they will catch up before it gets to cold, but I they are not pollen sacks in my opinion.

What do you mean youve been manipulating sun time to 12/12. It's an outdoor grow right? 12/12 is for indoor growing. My plants are finishing now and have been flowering since Early August. As far as the rest of your question, I don't know what to say... look pretty normal to me. Get closer pics.

I mean.. I planted them in july.. and have been putting them in my dark shed everynight at 7pm, and taking them out at 7am. I figured it would have tricked it into budding a bit earlier.. Hmm.. not sure why those pics werent clickable.. These should be..

Its just calyxes, they are not going to do anything. Those single calyxes are not going to explode into buds.
