What can he do? what ill he do? would it require a vote to pass as law?

he said it's up to the states same as he said before. He added that medical could be looked at.
Any national legalization of cannabis should be scrutinized and veted to make sure it doesn't fall under control of the oligarchy, big tobacco or big pharma
but big pharma should be allowed to participate.

What do you think?

I think the best we can hope for from Trump is to reclassify it and let the states do their thing as is his belief.
Right now it is in the same class as meth, heroin, etc... "Habit forming drugs with no known medical value".
By reclassifying, it would not be a cash only business like it is now. Banks would be allowed to work with related businesses.

If he don't let Jeff Sessions muck it up for us all.

If it's rescheduled that will be very bad. No more dispensaries/stores as we know it now... Just pharmaceutical companies... why do so many people have this confused? We would be much better off with trump taking a hard stance on it as opposed to rescheduling.. Although I hope neither happens.

I am not political by any stretch of the imagination but I just don't see big pharma growing weed.
I think rescheduling would open the doors a little wider for full legalization.
But alas, I have been wrong once before.

No, I got it. I just hear that so much and it just ain't so.
Marijuana is not physically addictive. It has no physical withdrawals like alcohol or tobacco. If someone thinks "I gotta have it", it's all in their head.
And it has been proven to have medicinal value.

It should be re-classified.

obama could/should have rescheduled it, or made it legal like tomatoes even, but he didnt, and
both him and his daughter are familiar with recreational marijuana even. nope, he kept putting people in jail , stealing their personal belongings for the cash grab instead, for a plant. Trump and/or Sessions might just surprise us all on this one

rescheduling would make it more legal for those without medical and medical states and legal states would have more protection.

Big Parma would prefer to synthesize copys but has been largely unsuccessful. They need the plant.
Straight rescheduling with out some legalization will pave the way for big pharma to control the industry. Straight legalization will lead to big tobacco taking over. Medical for the country with rescheduling at the same time will allow for big cannabis to grow and stay diverse and be the leader with the pharmaceutical industry making advancements and products as well.

Decriminalization.

Then it's wide open to the states and most will (if sane) will jump at just the increase in transaction revenue with a radical change of attitude.

If he wants to drain a swamp, the draconian stance on herb would be a good way to cut his teeth.

The unlikeliest scenario of all those proposed so far, much as I might wish you were right.

DEscheduling it would be the optimum outcome, and the least likely.

I'm betting it will be rescheduled and Big Pharma and Big Ag will combine to fuck the little guys in their 'silly' indoor warehouses. Except we aren't silly, we're pretty competitive and can already in most cases pay the bills by growing herbs and greens. And our industry is only getting more efficient.

Keep on it brother and make them bring the A+ game, otherwise they have a really good track record to do just as you say.
