will my plant still grow?

So about a week and a half ago I planted a seed outside then 4 days later I remembered that I had a gardener... so I dug up the soil and couldn't find it, but today I dug it up and it had a massive tap root, so after all the stress and me touching the seed with my hand will it still grow?

How many watts is that? A new seedling will only need about 50-100 actual wattage cause you dont want to burn it when its just starting. It should be able to make a recovery as long as you didnt damage the roots too much when you handled them. You are going to want to use some distilled water with no nutrients just to try and calm that baby down.

"Massive tap root"?

You sure you didn't dig up an old carrot or turnip from last fall's garden?

I've grown a lot of Cannababies and I don't think "massive" would be an adjective I ever used on a 10 day old sproutling's root.

Of course guys tend to stretch the massiveness of things when it pertains to their root.

a humidity tent would help as well.. Its not sprouted yet is it? as in cotyledonds?

Sometimes when I have slow rooting I rig up the plant in the solo cup so that I can put a low watt incandescent blub under the cup. That heats your soil and makes the roots happier and more willing to explore their new home.

it will grow just fine, I shredded my root ball using a razor knife to repot my plants out of solo cups, unburied and reburied seeds I thought were duds,I've snapped limbs off of plants even and ust taped them back on. Its a pretty sturdy plant.S7300743.jpg lol thats what the insides of a seed that I planted to deep and left set for a month before I unburied it and squeezed looks like....good thing I did, judging by what came out I'd say it was male.:bigjoint:

it'll be fine. i was transplanting a plant and i literally tore roots i heard them ripping because it was being stubborn and wouldn't slide out. plant bounced back in about 2 days. got 40g dried off of it to :).

so yeah you're good.
