will my plant grow taller while flowering????

I recently got some bubblicious seeds and am attempting my first project.:hump: My growing area is 2x3x5tall. Do plants grow much taller when you change the light cycle to 12/12???? I'm wondering how tall to let them vegetate before I start flowering...I will be flowering with 2 150 watt hps bulbs and am worried about toasting the tops of my babies. If they do get too close to my lights, can i just clip some off the top....Just saying that makes me cringe.......EVERYONE BACK AWAY FROM THE CANNABIS AND PUT THE CLIPPERS DOWN SLOWLY...KEEP YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE'EM..LOL

You will hear something along those lines if you done be carefull growing. haha

no pics ....my seeds havent cracked yet....Ive read so many threads in the last week that I feel I should have a PHD in cannabis....I just didnt see anywhere on the net discuss the rate of growth during flowering stage....now I am confident that my first attempt will be a stellar success...No Problems

they will double or triple in size depending on the plant.

I'm probably gonna have the height problem with my friends plants they don't wanna top them or anything there all ready 3' tall i have 8' to work with but they still want to veg them.ohh and that guy before me meant 25" inches

lol. the strand I deal with now is stupid. I used to veg 3 feet tall and now I only veg them 1 foot tall. that's a super small veg for me like a pee wee herman plant. they are stretching to 4.5 feet tall finish height and 3 foot around. so do plants stretch ? lol shit yea. under t5 they don't stretch as much as hps.
