Will I need a carbon filter

So I have a metal cabinet that I'll be using for my grow. Roughly 36x20x60 inches. I'll be running a 300w LED and in FF ocean forest giving her the FF trio nutes. The cab will be in a large room (500+ sq feet) and I'll only be growing a plant or two at a time for personal use. I plan on using a fan to vent the cab regardless, but do you guys think I'll need a filter? Probably going jock horror and bubblicious autos.

Yea, I agree. I dont run a filter, and even with plants that dont put off a big smell you still get a scent every once in a while. Plus, you will always have that 'planty' smell green stuff puts off floating around near the grow. I dont mind it so much but others might!

Avoid the filter ...but have it close ...if required thats what I do ...besides humidity can be high and it best to avoid filters above 65% Rh as they block up with water..!

What exactly is "65% RH" referring to?

I dont have a filter yet, first grow 34 days in and my house smells when I walk in after few hours out. Do DIY filters work for a smaller harvest?

Just buy a filter and stop fucking around Dr. Rosenberg.

Get a filter. Put a 4 in ventech and filter in a 25x48x72 and it worked then started to get a smell and put a variac on the fan to slow it down and works fine.

When the ventech filter gives out I will upgrade to a can filter.
