Fadedawg Well-Known Member Jan 23, 2021 #2 The buds have more trichomes and supply more oil. We typically run the buds and trim together after just removing the fan leaves and stems. With our strains we typically get about 18 to 25% yield, and with average trim, half that or less, depending on the trimmers.
