I'am 4 weeks into flower with 3 gdp and 2 mango kush and from what i understand the mango will take a couple more weeks than the gdp. The only place i have to dry is in the same room as the tent and since i cant dry in the tent with the mango still finishing im just gonna use the room itself. Since the tent pulls air from the room into the tent, through the filter and out the window, do you think this will help with the smell or will my whole house still be pretty stinky?

here is my trick when this happens. Get a big cardboard box and lay lines across it. hang weed in there. Then get the inlet tube from your grow tent and attach it to one end of the cardboard box. On the other end make a hole to let it air. Bingo, now you won't get stink as the negative pressure will drag the smell into your tent and then through the filter.

don't do this mate it will dry the weed too quick and it will taste like crap

dry the weed slow over 7-10 days

if you have to dry it in the tent use coat hangers and paper bages
hang branches on the coat hangers and slide a paper bag over the top

And Jack thinks i disagree with him all the time but i agree with him smell is smell contrary to popular belief the last week growing and the drying is the scariest time this is where the strongest smells occur drying slow n even is key you need temps in 60 - 65 i find to be the best and dark place if you got the cash make either a rack drying unit or buy another tent either way i remember i was drying about 30 pounds of wet bud second or 3rd day drying in sealed room buddies came over and first words out of there months is WTF dude you venting out side can smell it down the block ,, let me tell you all that is shitting your pants wondering if anyone else might pin point the smell to your place 30 pounds of wet i would say min 10 years lol so yeah fucking shitting but i would make a box cheap 1 x 2 wood some extra mylar or tarps couple of door screens milk case and small fan try to make it sealed there fore RH slowly drops off with fresh air in it will dry to fast

There is NO way to speed the dry without fucking your potency. Hang them in a dark cool room untill they dry. My harvest will always linger through my carbon scrubers and travel down the street. Careful if you intend to be stealth.

@DarthVapour

If that were me.

Poo everywhere!
Actually i thought i should invest in air freshnors lol i mean front entrance and all through out the house car freshnors specially at front entrance remember this is a sealed room
I also have pounds of bacon incase of emergency fry bacon quick scent change lol
but i also always have a big pot full of water boiling / simmering on stove cinnamon and cloves helps rid the smell

only if the plant is chopped into too small pieces + really high temps in the tent. but you can easily slow dry this cardbox style. i do it every time and there are no problems concerning taste and smell.

this was the bit I disagrea with get the inlet tube from your grow tent and attach it to one end of the cardboard box as it could be a 6" rck fan blowing through a small carboard box

saying you could change the ideal so it could work makes it a diffent ideal altogether
slow drying in carboard box works as shown here on youtube

but that not the point

My box stays at 20 degree (68f) and stays dark, rh at 50%. The box is not closed but tucked into the side of my tent. Basically a passive intake and the room stays clean. Have a look at these pictures, you can see it opened slightly against the tent. fresh air comes in here ... the pink think is just a mesh so no bugs crawl in :)
